So who else is waiting impatiently for November 1st to arrive? I don't want to cheat and start early, so I'm just tossing ideas around in my head. Settings, characters, concepts, possible jokes.

So he's absolutely nothing like it.

NIIIIINJAAAAAA.

Well that is too complex and too dark for children

As "New Disney" we are instead going to replace that scene with THREE comical sidekicks.

In fact our new movie is C3PO, Jar Jar, and a jive talking Ewok having adventures.
I feel the urge to punch something for some reason. Perhaps it's the endless parade of slippery slope fallacies and people who think that they're valid points.

Hey MaximumZero, if you're around, can you teach me the ways of facepunching?

See today's Real Life Comics for my take on Disney buying LucasArts. I just had that discussion, almost word for word, with a friend of mine.
What's this? It doesn't immediately jump to the worst possible conclusion with slippery slope arguments, but instead provides a reasonable outlook. That's contrary to roughly 90% of the conversation I've seen on every this topic.

Local restaurant is offering their signature dish for something like 75% off tonight, if you come in wearing a costume. Guess who has a ringwraith costume in his backpack :D

Frankenstein was the scientist, not the one on the table.

Given that "Frankenstein's monster" is technically the scientists son... and the scientists first name is Victor.

They are both Mr. Frankenstein.
Bull. Dr Frankenstein never thought of the Creature as his son, and the Creature wasn't in any way related to him.

Man who brought life to another = Father
By that logic, if I performed CPR on someone and got them breathing again, I'd be that person's father. Life doesn't work that way.

On the other hand, we have the Holiday Special to thank for Boba Fett, right?
This is true. Okay, the Holiday Special was good for one thing, though he was in a couple of cartoons rather than the actual movie, IIRC.

Shyriiwook? :P
Yes, that. Thank you.

30 minutes of that. No subtitles or translations of any kind. On top of an already crappy storyline involving a Wookie Christmas-analogue.

Face it, Star Wars has already had it's worse thing. Anything Disney does can only improve.

Let me give you one tidbit about the Special:

The first half-hour or so are entirely in the Wookie language (the name of which escapes me at the moment). Without subtitles.
