Apparently, Romney wants to explore space. o.O
By eliminating NASA and letting the private sector immediately take over and be more effective, as it always does in any situation. Praise be to Free Market Jesus.
But I said that NASA should receive more government funding. Nothing about the free market or whatever.

I side the most with Mitt Romney on science issues.
WHAT?! I said yes on stem cells, evolution, and space exploration. How the hell does Romney support those?

I wish we could too, but that doesn't mean I hate it. Even the final boss is powerless against it! :D

Whoever said something about being able to pre-load is either a dirty rotten liar, or wasn't referring to the Steam version :(

30547
No. I didn't have enough scrap to upgrade enough systems before I died <_<;

That's kinda a crappy trick to pull. The cheevo description just says that you need 29 power. Doesn't say it all has to be used!

30548
Yes, but I thought about that and moved him/her/it. No dice. I even left him there when I jumped to a new sector, no luck.

I've been playing this game too much. I was playing Empire Total War today, and kept hitting the spacebar to try and pause the action :P

Also, how the heck do you get that Zolton achievement for having 29 energy? I maxed out the reactor upgrades and had four Zolton crew on board. Last I checked, that adds up to 29. So why no unlock? Earning that would have given me the B layout T_T

I got that game as one of those Total War deals that pop up from time to time. I should probably give it a shot one day :P

If your computer can run it even moderately well, I would sincerely reccommend it. Then again, I've played every Total War game, starting with Shogun Total War, right up to Napoleon, Empire, and Medieval 2. I'm going to get Rome TW 2 the instant it comes out, if it hasn't already. I love these games.
We recently upgraded the family computer, actually. I installed it today while I was at school :P

And my first "death" already! Playing the second part of the Road to Independence campaign. I have taken Quebec and am moving on Montreal from two sides. Suddenly, a massive Huron force moves in on one of my armies. I notice that I'm fairly  outnumbered, but I decide to fight anyway.

On my side: Four colonial soldiers, three rangers, and two colonial militia.
On their side: Boatloads of warrior musketmen. Probably at least thirteen units, plus the General.

I place my units on a small hill. I arrange the soldiers in a semicircle at the base of the hill, with hidden rangers guarding the flanks and the militia covering the back. My cunning strategy is to allow the Native Americans to attempt to encircle my soldiers, which will get themselves ambushed by my rangers (who have yet to fail me) and hopefully make them break in panic. The militia will guard against any units (like the general on horseback) who manage to actually get around.

What I failed to account for was the fact that nearly the entire ground between us was considered cover (thus allowing to Huron warriors to move through much of it Hidden). Plus, the Huron weren't interested in falling for my fancy little ploys. They smashed directly into the front lines of my soldiers, causing them to break and flee from sheer firepower. I ended up moving my militia up to fill the ranks, all the while cursing my soldier's cowardice. The ranger ambush actually worked fairly well, each ranger killing a fair number of enemies before I told them to fall back. But there were so many of those dastardly foes that they simply marched forward and swamped my fleeing rangers.

And then the game crashed  :o

They do. I lost my chance at the stealth ship once thanks to the rebel fleet right behind me :(

I would be one of those 99.

Great is taller than any of the nearby buildings. Where exactly would you take cover?
I'm assuming that the anti-tank weapon was protruding from a window or mounted upon a sill, therefore my action would translate into "move out of the line of fire".
Ah, okay. That makes more sense.
