Had a couple of weird moments of lightheadedness today while driving. Dunno where they came from, but good thing they happened at red lights :o

I just lost a lot of nerd cred didn't I  :-[

I'll fix my error someday! I promise!
I've never played Morrowind, just Oblivion and Skyrim.  It's ok, you'll always be a nerd to me D:
Despite the dated graphics, Morrowind is quite fun, and in some ways is better than either Oblivion or Skyrim. And there's HD texture mods that improve the visuals...to a certain point.

Actually I can't figure out what ANYONE is trying to say to each other any more.
And here I thought that was just me.
I don't even post here much anymore <_<;

Cuz Portal is awesome, of course :D
My first FPS was the original Call of Duty, followed by Half Life.

Nah, I like this idea. Perhaps a stuffed version of an animal would also count for a dwarf's likes/dislikes.

I actually have a novel that introduced me to the concept of straw purchasers. It was told from the gunrunner's perspective :P

It's difficult to start with, but you can beat the final boss without ever putting points into your weapon room if you want. See my previous post.

I don't even know where they sell Battlefleet Gothic stuff, except maybe direct from GW's website. I've pulled together a small Tau army though.

More importantly, perhaps, X-COM knows more about what they're dealing with. Regular military are presumably kept in the dark as much as possible to avoid security leaks.

TerroristsAliens blew up my buildings.  I'm gonna pull funding from X-Com, the underfunded and only organization equipped and trained to fight the Aliens.
Maybe I'll fund my own anti-alien force instead.(It never materializes.)  Or maybe submit to the TerroristAlien overlords in fear.

Sadly, that also sounds realistic.
In the first game, countries would make alliances with the aliens if they didn't trust XCom to keep them safe. Said "alliances" involved human sacrifices, of course, as well as not funding XCom.
This is true.

Did someone link to the video game name generator again? :P
Yet another different one, you mean. :P

This is a good'un, too. I hardly saw any near-repeats, so whoever made it gave it a pretty good vocabulary.
Nah, it's the same one I've seen here before. I have it bookmarked :P

If pulling funding from the organization (which never showed up to help/utterly failed, mind you) would get the hyper-advanced aliens to give you and your citizens a break, would you do it?
