But how'd they figure that out now, instead of a couple years ago when the thing was launched? Were they going through old surveillance footage for shits n' giggles?

Dunno what happened, but my laptop just BSOD'd. I wasn't even running it particularly hard 

I'm pretty sure Reccetear is actively trying to prevent me from winning on the first loop. Just about everything is getting marked down (less profit) and the only things getting marked up are things I don't have. Customers come in selling highly valuable treasures while buying marked-down candy in return. I go to the dungeon and every random event involves the monsters doing double damage or having more defense. The upshot of all of this is if I want to continue the game and not start over (though with all of my inventory), I have to make 180,000 pix in just one day 

Who's announcing what?  Isn't Terraria basically dead and being picked over idly by the modders?

Btw, there are some waterleaves in the pond just in front of my place under the spawn, and someone dug a mushroom farm that I expanded one or two screens under my place.

I'm currently incarnating Urist Meta VIII. I really should stop dying so much.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't that mean more than actually taking down the sites homepage? I mean, their site is just a poster for their operations. They attacked their operations. Sure, some innocent people were inconvenienced, but they've certainly scared the shit outta me for one by demonstrating they can cripple the entire business rather than just rip down the poster in front of it. Uh... who hosts B12 by the way? I'm a little worried now.

So, basically a terrorist act. You aren't really hitting your real enemy, but doggone it let's potentially ruin the lives of a bunch of bystanders to intimidate everyone else into falling in line.
