According to the poll, roughly four hours.

I had a GM give us an astral diamond in loot...which we then had to turn over to renovate our new castle :P

Oh, since I forgot to answer the question earlier, I'm fine with pretty much any time on the weekends, these two
Code: [Select]
Sunday 0:00 through 3:00 (which happens to be Saturday 16:00-19:00 for me in GMT -8)

Sundays 20:00-22:00 (Sunday 12:00-14:00 in GMT -8).
being the best for me.

The most recent xkcd what-if Robot Apocalypse. :D
and this is why I love xkcd
Honestly, I find these what-ifs to be an order of magnitude better than the actual comic.

Heck, a few things have prices in cp.

Alright, it will know "come" and "stay". That way I can leave it outside those dank caves and undead-infested crypts that we will inevitably visit :D

Hmm...perhaps I should change my character's title to "the Ninja".

Should i include food in starting equipment ?
You can, or you can buy equipment in-game. I prefer the in-game method, when I play.
I bought food ahead of time. Why waste time going shopping when there's questing to do? :P

Speaking of wasting time, I had a request to make of the DMs: It seems that training an animal to perform a single trick (as simple as "come" or "stay") takes a week of work. I'm not sure if that has to be a solid week of sitting around doing nothing but training, or if the group can still go on quests and stuff and the training happens "off-screen" during rest periods.

If it's the first option, then I would like to start the game with my pet knowing, at the very least, come. I would be willing to spend some of my starting gold for this, on the assumption that I spent time that could have been used making money training my pet instead.

Whatever you do, dont buy a Toshiba. I have had a few of them for work purposes over the last few years and have had a series of hard drive failures. Thier batteries are also brittle, and niggly faults develop with the power supply and power connector failry easily.
*looks at Toshiba laptop in front of him*
...Crap.

You should easily be able to beat the processor and memory of that desktop. Hell, mine does and it was less than $300 (full keyboard and 10-key pad as well). I'm not very knowledgeable about graphics cards however, so I'll let others handle that.

One thing you may want to invest in is a cooling pad. Plugs into a USB port and uses fans to help keep your laptop cool.

I was looking through the SRD...turns out that they have a stats page for owls, and it's a shocker. Tetra has +14 to listen and a whopping +17 to silent movement. What's more, she has a better AC than I do :P

Sadly, it also doesn't look like she can level, but that's fine. I'm not planning on using her for combat purposes anyway.

Everyone is remembering to use the maximum of their hit die for level one, right? If your hit die is d4 (like a wizard), you get 4. If it's d12 (like a barbarian) you get 12. Then add your constitution modifier to that.

EDIT: Your stats look fine.

This doesn't make sense to me.
From my understanding, when you level up you roll a die equal to what your hit die is (d6 for me, so I would roll a six-sided die), and add your result plus your constitution modifier (the plus/minus) to your maximum HP. However, at level 1 you have the maximum your hit dice can provide plus your constitution modifier (7 for me, 6 + 1).

where does it list my hit die?
Check the page for your class here.

I was 800,000 at the closest, which, considering how close it apparently was, is pretty much inside. I'm on the free version, though, so that may not be implemented.
Oh yeah. In the free version, the sun is just a giant light source (which according to legend can slingshot you somehow).

Dunno. I came in late and only saw the outcome. If true, that's mighty impressive considering that her hair must have created some drag.

I love how China and the US both have 17, but China has 9 golds while the US has 5.
Hey, just wait until volleyball and basketball are finished :D

Or maybe not, who knows. One thing I've noticed is that either Phelps has lost his touch, or everyone else got much better. Dude didn't even get a medal at his event (400m medley), and his team only got a silver in the 4x100m freestyle.
In good news, one of the American women not only got a gold in 100m butterfly, but broke the world record at the same time.

Ah, interesting. HP seems much more variable in 3.5 than it is in 4, though the totals seem a bit lower.
