I vaguely remember that missiles are utterly useless in a nebula. Not 100% sure.

Do you think the Planking fad started with someone saying "I'm Board."?
Now that joke just fell flat.
Nah, the joke was fine but the delivery was stiff.

I give it a week before some organization with "family" in it's name organizes a protest of all things muppet-related.

Is that The Good the Bad and the Ugly?

*checks*

Yes, yes it is. I've only seen the latter half of that. Was pretty good, except the really, really, really, really long scenes. That mexican standoff lasted like a full 5 minutes.
You really should watch the first half some time. That Mexican Standoff was between three men who had been constantly playing and backstabbing each other for the entire film, making alliances before shattering them without warning. Now, there are no games to play, no clever ploys. Just three very dangerous men, all of whom detest the others, waiting to see who draws first. It's storytelling gold.

Gave it some thought, and came up with a couple more best movies:
The Matrix trilogy, mostly for the special effects. Hate on the plot all you want, but that CGI was groundbreaking for the time.
District 9 for it's grittiness and dark humor.
Serenity. Yes, it was basically non-sexual fanservice, but it was really, REALLY good fanservice.
Lord of the Rings trilogy by Peter Jackson. Look at some of the behind-the-scenes footage sometimes for my reason.
And now, by far the best movie ever made:
The Justin Beiber movie. This is a joke.

Spent about $25 altogether for 6 games. Not bad, but I probably shouldn't have spent that much  :-\

DCS A-10 Warthog is 60% off, so you might want to pick that up anyway. The HoI games are also on sale, though only around 40% off.

Finally teched up to the point that I can harvest cryozine. Currently have my frigid colony gathering as quickly as possible, though it takes a very long time to fetch. Doesn't matter much, as I failed to realize that most of my shipbuilding industries are stuck at TL3 and thus I can't build my next model of ship or spaceport  :-\

Currently in my shopping cart:
  • Analogue: A Hate Story, which I've heard good things about.
  • The Longest Journey, which I discovered through that reddit link someone posted a while back (of "hidden" deals) and has a surprisingly high Metascore.
  • Also thinking of getting DHSGIT, because it looks just strange enough to work.

Haven't gotten much out of the front page deals this summer, which is a shame. Maybe the winter sale will be better.

The air is on one of the colonies, not the homeworld. And since it's an outer world with an average wind speed of 63mph or so, wind power should suffice.
Wind power works best on frigid worlds. Wind is usually over 200mph, outpowering nuclear plants, I think. People have (reportedly) launched sailboats into orbit with that.
The outer colony is not gonna be very big, thankfully. Mostly producing high quality air, fish, and stone for construction.
