Oranges are great, it's a fact, but they just don't match apples when it comes to versatility. Just like the humble potato, the apple is at home in almost any dish.

I have discovered something amusing: even something as horrific and mind-f**ked as Evangelion becomes hilarious if you watch it with the picture and sound sped up. Imagine Alvin and the Chipmunks singing Latin choir as 8-bit music plays, and you have something close.

I just had a thought: who here likes to eat raw lemon and/or lime wedges? I tend to eat them if they are served with my food, rather than squeeze the juice onto whatever is being served.
