Most fruits contain some level of cyanide in one part or another. The level of cyanide in apple seeds is generally insufficient to poison humans, even if you eat many of them.

In a similar showing of toxicity, caffeine is produced by plants as a deadly paralytic....versus insects, while we react quite differently.

Well, never mind then! I had heard that some part of some fruit actually contained toxic amounts of cyanide, but I wasn't sure which fruit it was.

The worst part is THIS IS NEW ZEALAND. I've never heard of ANYONE possessing all those stereotypically AMerican Christian traits in NZ before. I had some minor hope that we were actually free of such concentrated bigotry.

Totally worth a couple quid.

Just over a day too late

1: You don't have to use the same species. In fact, some people encourage you to use different ones.
2: Baby Pokemon, like Pichu. Can't get them via catching.
3: Bred Pokemon can be born knowing moves that their species cannot otherwise learn, or know them at a much lower level.

The thing that I (and presumably other people) liked about it was that it wasn't about making fun of the disabled or treating them as abnormal. All of the characters were treated like, y'know, people.

Two sales to discuss today.

First: Weekend Sale! Entire Dawn of War series 75% off. Not bad if you like the Warhammer 40,000 universe.
Second: Daily sale. Analogue: A Hate Story, 50% off. Worth it? I've tried the demo, it was alright. Not sure how much longer the game goes on, but the story so far intrigues me.

I guess this is as good a place as any to plug the VirtualDex project. You can, indeed, catch all of the pokemans, including retro, shiny, and custom sprites. Sadly, not much of a battling system yet.
