Okay, guys, educate me about American meat food.Depends. Does chicken, turkey, and fish count as meat in your mind?
Is all that US people eat in terms of meat is bacon and steaks? Clearly you have other meaty things that go with everyday dinner?

Wrestling with subtitles is probably the worst part of anime. I think I'm going to switch over to some English cartoons once I finish Eva. Probably Avatar.Eva and Avatar are probably my two favorite animated things right now. Both incredible series.

There are some truly bizarre fetishes out there, but as long as all parties involved give informed consent, I don't really care.
Same with anything else that would be illegal if acted out in real life.
EDIT: Note that I don't think it at all unreasonable to consider that stuff "nasty," "gross," "sick and wrong," etc. You don't have to like it, not at all. I just don't think it should be illegal.
I now want to play a post-apocalyptic video game where the ice caps melted. The entire game is played in waist-high water, and it's shark infested.Wouldn't the people have moved further inland, thus avoiding waist-high shark-infested water?
Of course we could. Of course, now that we no longer have emperors that we view as gods, why would we? Waste of resources.(like building pyramids and such, ranging from Central America/South America to Egypt and plenty of other places I am probably forgetting about)
I'm pretty sure that we could build the pyramids nowadays. Probably bigger and better than the originals.
