Inquisitor and his retinue?

Smithing on its own is utilitarian. It DOES directly boost some of the abilities in Clockwork Knight, though.
Nope! That's Tinkering.
Ok, some of the smithing levels also boost tinkering, but the Tinkering skill might have been a better choice (especially considering that most of the clockwork weapons and armor are made with Tinkering instead of Smithing).
:)

Popping in for the first time to say that I have a special reaction video for rage-inducing things. However, this video must be used carefully. It is not for "McDonald's screwed up my order AGAIN!", it should be reserved for "THAT TOTAL GODDAMN CHILD-RAPING SCUMBAG".

I give you a giant non-Euclidean crystal melting a mountain.

If smithing gets more interesting later... then smithing.

I'd love to make a mechanics + Smithing combo
Smithing makes you stronger and able to craft cooler stuff...that's about it. Helpful, but not entirely interesting.

You want interesting, choose just about any other skill :P

I learned today that I'm not that bad at shmups.

Putnam, what do you use for recording this?
If I can get it, I shall start recording some LPs, perhaps.

ZSNES with Mencoder and LAME using the built-in movie-making system (MOVIE OPT under MISC).
What sort of system specs do you have? I've tried recording things before and they always turn out ridiculously slow :P

Intel Core i5 750, quad core (like it matters :P), ~2.7 GHz

3 gigs of RAM (On 64 bit! Come on!)

Radeon HD 5450 (Shitty graphics card for... rendering videos.)

I figure it's pretty good RAM and the processor must be pretty good too, because I can run DF at 1000 FPS on embark.
Gah, you blow my processing speed out of the water. And I can almost guarantee that your graphics card is still better than mine :P

Have you learned nothing about us Bay Watchers? "Losing is fun 8) "
To be honest though, it did piss me off that so many old nobles left. We could really have used their help :/

Grats. How much CS involved? I only see the numbers of men.
Morek vs Summerdale
Total combat strengths: 4575 vs. 14065

I'm certain we could find some nice fences to sit on.

Laughing so hard at this whole line of conversation, but this just made it.

Also my phone is full of beans.
Dunno why it's called fence-sitting. In my mind, agnosticism means that I cannot know if any gods exist or not, so why worry about it?

I spent a good four hours painting a single D&D figurine. It rests proudly on my shelf to this day, because it is awesome.

I have no friends here and I will never probably never have friends here because I just can't do it. I am lazy and unsociable and contrary and really not feeling particularly well lately
Hey, I'll be your friend. You seem a nice guy.
+1

Yeppo. Glyph's a good guy.
He makes ROM-hacks and doesn't afraid of anything.

And I thought Shark Shurikens was cool. ._.;
Silly Descan. Sharks aren't aerodynamic enough to be thrown with the proper shuriken-like force.

Silly Descan :P

I think it's more my lack of understanding of organizations that's causing me confusion. And I don't really understand how people behave most of the time, so I don't understand what would occur at any meeting, other than discussing the topic of the meeting.
Well, think of what other groups do. Look at, say, Boy Scouts. They plan trips, discuss how to properly tie knots, tell spooky stories, and all sorts of unrelated stuff. They don't spend every meeting going over the Code of Honor or whatever.

No no no. This is what you do.

1: Take two sharks.
2: Put a saddle on each of them.
3: Equip contenders with anti-bite chainmail, scuba gear, and a lance.
4: Point sharks towards each other, each with a rider.
5: Drop bloody cow carcass in the middle.

Shark. Jousting.

Please note that poking fun at =/= hatred for.  :)

I wonder if there are any agnostic organizations...
