Other Games / Re: Hitman: Absolution, Killing Latex Clad Nuns.

I'm less concerned with the silliness of the nuns and more with comments by the game's producers that the game will not be sandbox at all. You will have binary 'stealth' or 'action' choices and that's about it. :<
To be fair a lot of the previous game's levels weren't very sandbox either, although they usually had open worlds with a lot of ways to approach your goals, but this does make me worry that these games are going to be very linear.
The footage we've seen of the Chinatown mission (despite being pre-beta) is very reminiscent of Blood Money's levels, so I think we're okay on that front. Not exactly a sandbox, but there are still plenty of ways to kill the target.

Finally updated my avatar; the puns in the old one were a couple years out of date... An avatar avatar loses it's humor pretty quickly.

Wanna go to space.
It looks so happy :D

I've seen that one a few times. Maybe not the exact garble of characters, but the "highly-trained monkeys" bit.

I will emulate my good friend Space Sphere and go:
"SPAAAAAAAAACE!"

Some girl that I had a crush on 3 years ago (but never told her anything because I was so fuckin' uncomfortable with people back then) just contacted me on Facebook. We started talking, and she's been going on to tell me how she found me cute and blah, and still does, and been stalking me by common friends but didn't dare add me on Facebook. And she's even more cute than ever.

It's like someone up there looked at me and said "That guy need a girlfriend."  :D

YES.

Our luck is turning. Lets spread the love!

Ditto.

Sheb, Ehndras, good for both of you!  :D Let not the envious singles get you down.

To the 'rest' of us... well, no girlfriend means less spending, right? So more savings. (Or, if you're a total lad wannabee student like me, more beer)  ;)

Fun Fact: The cost of raising a family is much higher than a trip to space on one of Branson's craft; Virgin Galactic indeed.
All the more reason for me to begin saving up!

Raise a family or go into space? Is that really a choice?
Not sure if sarcasm...

We're stuck with three options here:

1) The nuns were not informed as to who exactly their target was. For all we know, they were told that they were taking out a notorious arms dealer or something. Thus, they came prepared for a normal man, but not for 47.

2) The nuns were bargain-basement killers who had some wealthy backers. They wanted to be badass and took a job way over their heads.

3) The nuns were just that good...and so was 47.

I just realized that this is my third post and I didn't say anything about the game itself. I'm looking forward to this; I love Blood Money and the feel you get after scoring a perfect mission is awesome. If this game can deliver more of the same, it's on my must-get-eventually list.

They were armed with automatic rifles. You don't need "proper" footwear if you were expecting to waltz into the burning remains of the hotel room and put a bullet in the target's head. Sadly, they weren't counting on 47 turning the tables on them, but they still managed to knock 47 around pretty well.

At least, that's my take on it.

Hey, people? Hitman has always included sexual themes. There was the prostitute in the first game (though 47 didn't seem interested), there was the Meat King's party from a different game, and at least two, female, scantily-clad enemy assassins in Blood Money. Not to mention all the people walking around in bikinis at Mardi Gras and stuff.

Also take note of how, aside from their appearance, there was nothing sexy about the nuns, nor did 47 show any sort of attraction to them. Unless you're turned on by broken noses and bullet-riddled human shields, in which case you have an entirely different problem. He killed them without a hint of mercy, and they did their best to kill him as well.

Finally, as some other people have mentioned, the trailer does not seem indicative of any of the gameplay we've seen so far. He may have been slightly more agile in the Chicago level, but that can be excused by improvements in technology and it was hardly on the level of Assassin's Creed or Splinter Cell. I think people are panicking and condemning this game over essentially nothing, which I had hoped this community didn't take part in.

That said, it's very helpful for getting large rockets out of the atmosphere without tilting over. Once in orbit though, you'll need to make your own adjustments.

I'm watching this. Never played 3.5e before, but I'll start looking up the rules and if you need a substitution at some point I'd like to jump in :)

It's raining...It's sad to me...DAAMN.
Not sure if spambot... or just bad at forums.
Looks like the second option, or a REALLY GOOD spambot.

Since my character is a bit of a pagan, Summerdale (with it's freedom of religion) was pretty much the only place to go. Now he's stuck between two highly theocratic realms. Rock and a hard place, eh?

Karlo (22 skill) and Roubis (skill 17). Roubis also has a special skill that helps boost maintenance efforts.

Do the Romulans really need three fleets to be pacified? If not, use the Unity Fleet to harass the Ferengi or someone else. Just because they have no ships now, doesn't mean that they might not be trying to build.
