You know that old phrase, "if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all"? Yeah.QuoteI actually did it without an arena, in iron, ends up the trick is to play offensively. Don't really try to dodge him, just keep hammering on him
Out of everything I have EVER heard about Terraria... This has to be the most terrible thing I have ever heard about Terraria.
It truely breaks a game when you realise that strategy is pointless.
Terraria is horrible... It truely is. Is terraria Bad? Who knows... but Wow... that is just a game destroying statement.
This trope applies nicely (read the Purist section).Honestly, the guy in one of the interviews made the most important point: The original is still out there. If someone is bothered that much by the changes, it isn't as if the first game isn't available for a very low price. I can respect that they're making changes, because if we're going to be honest, the original was a flawed game. Just because it was great doesn't mean it was perfect, unless you've got cokebottle-thick rose-tinted glasses on. I can very easily see myself liking Enemy Unknown for largely different reasons and still playing both. Heck, either a straight remake with bugfixes and pretty things or a genuine, honest reinterpretation would be a Good Thing. Because the original is still right there, untouched.
And there isn't REALLY point in remaking original with better graphics and better interface. People would just complain about not getting new XCOM game instead of complaining about not getting game identical to original XCOM.
Exactly, they are going to have angry fans regardless of what they do with something like this, so they might as well try doing a different take on it. There are reasonable complaints that can be made, but (IMO, obviously) "it isn't identical to how it used to be" isn't a particularly valid or helpful one.
Straight to the links! The gameboy one's supposed to be pretty weak, though. Being the first and all that, heh. Many thanks to ye, Frumple
When it hits 100+ on the other end of the country, we usually set ours to 78 or so. Thankfully we've got a cool spell going now.*spittake*Is not too bad, really. Heater doesn't get turned on during winter (at all) and pretty much all lights and suchlike stay off.
67?! Fahrenheit?! Good lord, I'd hate to see your power bill
But, 67, 70, 80? Only somewhat difference when it's nearing 100 outside. AC still on 24/7 to keep people from keeling over from heat.
