Weapon idea.In other words? Dwarven.
Capture quantites of wild birds, caging them on a raised platform. Release when siegers arrive, and shoot them down with marksdwarves located nearby. Gravity should do the rest.
"The spinning buzzard corpse strikes the troll in the head, tearing the brain..."
Pointless, innefficient and compicated.
None of your teachers noticed either? Perhaps they are Bay 12ers as well.Hemmingjay needs to get a medal for doing so many giveaways. :V
He does.
During my English class, we were studying Hemmingway. Jay had been doing so many giveaways during that time that I started referring to him Hemmingjay instead. So Hemmingjay is referred to as the author of works such as A Farewell to Arms in several of my papers. I didn't even notice it was wrong until I was reading some school material far into the semester and realized what I'd been doing.
My Dad has a cat (Oscar). He once showed up with the head of a dog. Its probably best we never found the rest of it.Who's a cute little kitty? You are! Yes you are!

Well, no. Expecting every origin story to be a unique, well-crafted masterpiece would be asking a lot, I thinkI love how original some of these origin stories are turning out.
Not all are exactly original, of course.
"A race of [avian] warriors, they were by tradition hunters that lived in a loose federation of clans and nations."
"Even after centuries of civilization, the Hissho have maintained their respect for honorable conflict and view valor as a more important skill than diplomacy."
Every time I'm in any sort of interaction with the Hissho, I just can't stop thinking about the Turians...

I third it. I love how original some of these origin stories are turning out. An entire race cloned from a megalomaniac? Self-replicating terraformers? Single-celled organisms that are the peaceful, diplomatic race rather than some sort of plague?I second that.Horatios have the best backstory.
They did. Now that title now belongs to The Sowers.
