I saw this on steam and was amazed. I want it so bad.

It looks like Galactic Civilizations II except way better.

Ok I don't get it...

Was Galactic Civilisations 2 good or bad?

Because I didn't like it but everyone around me liked it. (Also I am starting to despise the "One rail" Research tree method so much. ESPECIALLY in sci-fi settings)
I thought GalCiv II was awesome (even started an LP of it a year or so back), so if this is better I'll be very happy.

I haven't tried moving past the 'Fast' setting (second lowest), but its working perfectly fine on my i3, 4gb ram, intel hd graphics laptop. Occasional lagspike in the battle scenery if I have too many ships in one place (like 22 corvettes)
:O

Those are practically my specs. Awesome!
One last question: What version did everyone buy? I'm thinking about Emperor (extra heroes and skins and so forth), but is the stuff included worth an extra 4bux?

So I managed to score $30 and I'm looking at this game. So far, I haven't heard anything I really hate.

HOWEVER, I'd like to know how demanding this game is, resource-wise. Do you need a powerful processor and a top-of-the-line graphics card? Can you get by with low-end specs?

Part 22: Choo-choo!

Welcome back! Last time, we shot up some pirates and decided that yes, we are gonna go shoot some more. 8)

Spoiler: Rescue (click to show/hide)
Spoiler: Back on track (click to show/hide)
Spoiler: Shaken, not stirred (click to show/hide)
Spoiler: New Toys (click to show/hide)

Well, I'll save the next bit for tomorrow. No real difficult choices to make this time, just find a place for our newest crew member and tune in.

Also, just as a friendly reminder, be sure to pipe up if you see a ship you really want, so I can start saving money if needed. Our fleet is good for now, but a little variety never hurt anyone.

Keep in mind that flying straight up doesn't put you into orbit (well, maybe if you went far enough, though you'd be more likely to simply fly away). You need to tilt your spacecraft to the side until you're nearly parallel to the ground and continue boosting until the blue line on the map screen makes a complete circle. Only then can you be considered to be in orbit.

I now want to build a rocket so powerful I could change the orbits of planets at will.

Oh, the kerbailty.
I don't think you can do that in this game :|

New video!

Just some cool forests for the most part and some rather sexy looking animations for characters.
Agh, no combat or anything yet. At least the environments look very nice.

New sig! It isn't showing up though...

Does someone know why?
What's the code you entered?

Romney has declared he's against gay marriage, I still don't understand how people can honestly care about two gays getting married when there's much bigger issues. Up here in Canada, gay marriage has been legal for years, and we aren't debating whether or not we should be marrying dogs or not.
That's because Canada is full of godless liberal socialist Nazis. No one cares what you sinners do.

:P

I take it back! I did another investigation, and when I thought that I put swiss cheese on my sandwiches... I take another look at the package, and it's actually pepperjack! That caught me so off guard.

Who'dathunk that cheese would be so spicy?!

What in the .... No, just no. Not gay.
It doesn't seem like they're claiming that Obama is gay, just that he's the first to openly support gay marriage. Probably could have been worded better :P

I'm not sure I understand what you mean, Kaijyuu. (Unless you're referring to the fact that your age is 2007 according to your profile.)
I mean I'm hoping people are being sarcastic when they say all teenagers are jackasses and everyone over 40 is a nutcase.

As for my age, well... it was a secret, but I'm actually Ra's Al Ghul. Don't tell Batman. I've been beaten up one too many times by the Detective.
Oh, don't worry. I knew you were here all along.

Went bowling today. Did fairly bad, but it was the first time in years and I had lots of fun. :)
