Go ahead. You're the player, after all. I'm mostly keeping my hands off :)

Eh, don't worry about telling me. I'll wait for the inevitable, fleet-smashing, world-destroying surprise :P

This /r/starbound post has some new screenshots. Also a ketchup robot.

And the quality of the game is starting to become even more apparent.

Yes! Use the power of money! In 4X games, money can solve anything!

Two questions: First, how's my fleet doing? Number of ships and so forth.
Second, what the heck is the thing that showed up? Borg? Gas monster? Unless telling me would be OOC knowledge, or you don't know yourself.

Some of my highest playtimes:

Borderlands - 185 hours
Garry's Mod - 136 hours
Left 4 Dead - 148 hours
Left 4 Dead 2 - 113 hours
Mass Effect 2 - 158 hours

Not as much as some people, so that makes me feel better <_<;
However, the fact that I have a lot of games off Steam means I still probably have a lot of hours un-recorded.

Anyone use MultiMC Launcher???
Whenever I make a New Instance for a different Modset with it, I get NO SOUND.
But if I make a "Copied" instance via my MAIN .minecraft from the Minecraft Launcher, I do.
If needed I can post the Error report if anyone knows how to dissect one...
I've noticed that, actually. Sound does start to show up if you start a world and let it load for awhile. Then it will work every time.

When you eventually bite the dust, does the dust get hurt?
Of course not, dust lacks the required nerve endings to feel any sensation, including pain.

Be careful. I hear in Australia the trees come alive and stab you with massive poisonous, venomous, mossy fangs then the dirt eats you.
The dirt eats everyone, eventually,
Not everyone. Didn't Gene Roddberry (or whatever the name of the Star Trek creator was) get launched into space?

But what I don't get is that one of the main things they are speaking out against is Rush's name calling of that woman.
Rush's name-calling of that women with harmful intent.

That's the point, I think. They want it that calling someone a slut isn't a bad thing. But when people call someone a slut and mean to denigrate them in doing so, that harms that ideal, and that's what they're protesting.
Once again, someone else explains what I'm trying to say far more concisely :P

Ok, in a city near me some people are holding an event to stop sexist language. Its good, but some of their presenters are going to be talking about Rush Limbaugh and as a result they are calling their event "Sluts talk back" Is it just me, or does this seem counter-productive on the issue of sexist language? I mean, I know what their doing with the name, calling attention to Rush's antics, but it seems as if the name may hurt their cause more than help it by making them seem as if they don't care if they are called sluts. Does anyone else see this or am I over-analyzing it?
I heard of a similar event a few years back called the "Slut Walk", to protest sexist language used by someone in authority (a cop, iirc). The idea was to demonstrate that women can and do have sex (and enjoy it!) just like men can, and should be able to do so without negative connotations.
Remember that in a lot of places, men who have lots of sex = studs, manly men, playas; whereas women who have lots of sex = sluts, whores, tramps.

Now the Steam Community site is down :P It works now. Looks interesting, but I'll have to try it out tomorrow.

If you want a single button to power more than 8 things, set it up to turn on multiple lasers in an enclosed space, and put up a laser detector on the end of each beam. Then each detector can power 8 things, and since lasers are instantaneous, there is almost no delay.
There's a good idea. I'm afraid I might run into the item limit eventually, but it should work I'd think.

Also, here's an idea: a "combination lock", using a set of buttons to try and trigger things (lasers, probably) in a certain order. Perhaps with the use of timers, so the puzzle resets itself if you screw up somehow.

Also paid 10x more than I did :P
Ah, but it was worth it. Plus I actually had income at the time :)

Check it out!

I promise that I beat this test. It is possible to do so, and to do so extremely quickly.
90% of people who attempt this test will fail.
It ain't there anymore. Is that the joke? :|

Anyway, started playing around with this the other day. So far I made a "test" in which aerial faith plates launch you from one to another around a small room, dipping around obstacles and avoiding deadly goo. It was mostly to test how to alter flight paths and the like.
I also started work on two actual challenge maps. The first has you pressing a button as you fall through the air to get a redirection cube, which is then used to turn off a series of lasers to deactivate a death gate in front of the exit. Something is wrong with the triggers however, and the gate deactivation laser won't turn off.
Second is an idea that involves orange gel to speed past a bunch of turrets. Sadly, I've discovered that you can only link up to 8 objects per button, and I need much more.

Finally, an idea that I've had but haven't begun work: Using a redirection cube and portals, try to find which of a bunch of laser receivers opens the exit rather than discouraging you, dumping you into goo, or revealing turrets.
