Part 21a: This LP can now legally drink!

Welcome back to Infinite Space! Sorry for the short break, things seem to be working over here now.
Anyway, this one is gonna be kinda short, sorry about that. Like this last choice, there will be another one that affects what happens later in the game. Let us continue...

Intel graphics card
Don't remind me, I don't need to be ranting in the raeg thread at this early in the morning. I'm in the same situation: I could run most modern AAA titles (albiet on low settings, but still) if it weren't for the Intel chipset. This has played no small part in my transition into indie, old, Source, and roguelike games.
Let me guess: Your Intel chipset is pretty much welded in, so you can't replace it, right?
so...much...rage

Well, I discovered that the Systems Requirement Lab is utterly useless as far as this laptop goes. Thanks to the Intel graphics card, pretty much every game I enter automatically fails the minimum requirements - even if the specs on paper can beat the recommended specs. Yes, even games that I have installed and run perfectly fine on above-average quality (Rome: Total War, for instance, failed the check despite running on high graphics). Thus, whether a game will actually work or not is a crapshoot.

Why is this happy? Because I have successfully ran Dragon Age: Origins on this thing. Lowest quality, yes, but it works with only occasional slowdown. Maybe now I can finally get down to beating this game.

I never played CoD like a realistic FPS. I've always done the arcady run-n-gun, popping grenade launchers everywhere and waiting for my health to regenerate. As long as the game has some awesome visuals and intense moments, that's pretty much all I ask.

Oh man, I'm so excited.  The new Call of Duty game has quad-copters and crazy quadrupedal robo-tanks.

I know Call of Duty fans.  They think they're military experts, and they will not stand for this shit.  This is the moment we've been waiting for, a Call of Duty game is going to bomb.

Some squids just want to watch the game industry burn.
For every CoD faux-expert that thumbs their nose at these, there will be an equal number of fans of military sci-fi that will pick it up. Sorry, but I doubt this will bomb.

So yeah, lightsabers are a thing that exist now.
I don't see a lightsaber. It's a glass tube with fancy lighting effects, as far as I can tell. My friend has had one for years, and it even makes the sounds :|

It will blind you if you look directly at it.  It sets fire to things.
If it does all that with the tube attached, why attach the tube? It doesn't make things any safer, and it's probably too fragile to actually do anything with.

I dunno. It's like the makers took a nasty laser, stuck a piece of glass on the end, and called it something it wasn't. Coulda called it a "blaster" and it would have made more sense, but lightsabers can't blind people merely by pointing at them.

A glass tube with fancy lighting, and a laser attached to it.
And the point of the laser is...what? To make it more expensive?

I'm more interested in the giant goddamn skeleton behind the gear trees.
But I agree: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

God, tropes should be a SCP on its own.

You were saying?
Agh, if only I were awake earlier, I could have beat you to the punch :P

USS Happy Thread
HMS Homestruck
KSF Future of the Fortress
JDF How Well Known Is The Person Above You

Eh, some of these may work. I think classes should just be animals and monsters found in DF, like Crundle or Jabberer.

You mean Sir Erasmus La Pointe, Magistrate of Justice of Terran, Senator of Vashgew? How is he evil?
He threw me, and maybe the other 4 people were prisoners too, in prison in his Chetau, and tortured us :c

Its a medieval RP strategy-war game, that's not evil its normal.

Hell, I once RP'd creating an insane secret cult with some of the players who just joined Terran with me. We captured someone we found on our land and tortured them violently before executing them over the altar, hehe. Fun times. Folks quickly learned not to spy on us... :P That was actually the most entertaining RP I had EVER run. It was very liberating and fun to be the bad guys for once. I'm always the honorable white-knight in all my RPs.
I'd like to know where the lords torture their citizens which seems to be, for fun, were at. I think there were no such in Sweden. :c
Vlad the Impaler?
