Other Games / Re: Games you wish existed

Thought of this earlier, while cleaning dishes (I do some of my oddest thinking in the kitchen, it seems).

Take the characters from Mass Effect. Stick them in a high school. Emphasis the relationship aspects. You have the Mass Effect dating sim. The personalities and backgrounds would change slightly to fit the new theme:

Ashley becomes the tomboyish childhood friend.
Kaiden is the laid-back guy with a tragic past.
Joker is the class clown (uses a wheelchair or crutches to get around).
Wrex is the school bully, though not evil or malicious.
Garrus is a wannabe bad boy. Possibly hangs out with Wrex.
Tali is a shrinking violet, at least at first.
Liara is also shy, and of course is bi-curious.
Anderson is one of the teachers, possibly home room. Cool older guy who offers advice.
Udina is the principal.
Miranda is the rich bitch (there's one in every high school drama, after all).
etc, etc.

Like I said, totally weird idea, but now I wouldn't mind seeing some sort of fan project like this :P

So as a guy who's been trying to find mushroom biomes (because seriously, mooshrooms are awesome), I'm pleased to report a seed that starts you pretty much right next to one:

i dont care

You pretty much just need to turn around, and there it is :D
There's also a jungle nearby, if you like taming cats.

Some kind of ARG for this now. Apparently the number goes up based on the number of active connections. We're still quite a way from 100%.

I should get an avatar, almost look like a spambot with a link like that.
Does it really need to add text constantly? Leaving this on all night would probably become a killer for memory.

Probably the ones uploaded from steam, I'll fix them EDIT: How about now? I'll also try to get a video of combat uploaded sometime within the next couple days.
Pictures work great now, thanks. Those races look pretty interesting, even if they fill standard archetypes.

Capturing isn't permanent or anything. You have a chance to escape each turn, and other nobles can pay for your release.
Executions, on the other hand...

I'm planning to make an alt on another island, and then send him to that Demon-war island. Sounds like it could be fun, in a "the end is nigh" sort of way :D

General Discussion / Re: What was that old show called?
« on: May 03, 2012, 01:19:35 am »
In the late nineties and early twenty-first century, every movie was made into a kids show. Off the top of my head, I can recall Men in Black, Godzilla, Evolution, The Mighty Ducks (which bore absolutely no resemblance to the movie it was based off of, in the weirdest way possible), and I think there was a Free Wiley show which, like Mighty Ducks, added a sci-fi element to a franchise that in no way possessed it previously. Plus, I think like half of early Toon Disney was tv spin-offs of their more successful movies.
Some of those were awesome (I liked the Men in Black cartoon quite a bit), so that's not in any way a bad thing :)
+1. The Men in Black cartoon was awesome and (in my nostalgia-clouded mind) hilarious. I think I actually still have a recorded episode on VHS somewhere...

Oh, well that's not so bad. I previously mentioned how I try to avoid those kinds of fandom/pairing discussions, partly because they can go in some strange and disturbing directions. Therefore, I don't know the lingo :P

Russian terrorist fired an RPG (which can miss a stationary truck from 30 feet when wielded by a human) at me, which snaked through two airplane windows and between a Humvee and lamppost to hit me directly. Instant death.

So what do people think of peanut butter? It's a staple of many families, so I'm wondering how people use it or if they use it at all.

It also has left-handed rabbits! Yay! (though I didn't see how exactly you determine handedness)
Might be as simple as a game option, or something you pick at the start of a new game.
Also: that last scene with bloody Turner standing over his slain opponent was quite epic.
