I admit I was hesitant about the screenshots, but the video of the floaters actually seemed terrifying. They look far more dangerous than they were before, and we even got some nice footage of X-COM soldiers dying horribly to plasma.

So yeah, I accept the new floater look.

788 is pretty much the Dwarf Fortress SCP. Speaking of that, Putnam, is 788 in the SCP mod?

WHY THE HELL IS IT NOT
Because that would be totally horrifying and would result in the deaths of countless thousands of dwarves. Do it.

Also, I want to see Kilplix play this game. I prefer his freak-outs to PewDiePies'.

Anyway, it looks like the Askold is the clear winner here. Plus, mythology-themed names are the winner by a considerable margin!
I'll be posting a mini-update later today to show off Yuri's new, improved fleet. If anyone has ideas for names, chime in! Otherwise, I'll think of something.

Edit: Ow. >.O My sternum just popped.

...I'm pretty sure sternums aren't supposed to move.  What the heck?
I don't even know. Mine does that sometimes, too. I think it's the flexible part where the ribs attach that does it.
Speaking of, mine feels like it's trying to pop as well. No matter how I flex or stretch, it refuses to and it's causing an annoying level of discomfort.
You know that stretch like you're just waking up? Spread your feet, horse stance style, then get up on your toes, arch your back and spread your arms back as far as they'll go. I always jokingly called this "The Quickening" whenever sensei had me do this. He never got the reference, sadly.
Helped a little, still no "pop". I might not be flexible enough to do it correctly. Gotta exercise more so I can cure these aches <_<;

The best way of removing graffiti seems to be getting an artist to grafitti over the top of it .
Though eventually it gets defaced.
Not always. There are some very nice murals downtown, been there for years, and as far as I know none of them have been tagged.

Thief with an 87% hit chance, wielding a sword, VS a pirate with a 25% hit chance wielding an axe. Pirate wins. EVERY TIME.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

The whole bit with Fire Emblem is that if something keeps on killing a crucial character, you've got to restart the entire chapter to reset the RNG. Otherwise, your character will keep on dying.
Yeah, not doing that. Thankfully, it's an arena so I can simply not use the thief and wait for better luck next time.

I'm not sure why I did it, and I'm pretty sure that I'm the only one on the B12 forums who did, but I just watched the NFL Draft (Round 1). Football will be upon us soon. ^_^
Oh crap, I just realized: Fantasy Football is coming back soon. I better read up some stats again and work on my smack talk.

I read that as Final Fantasy Football, and had to doubletake.

"Come on Yuna! You were BORN to be a linebacker!"
Well, they did it with the Warhammer Fantasy races. Why not? :P

Tritto Askold, but go with weapons. Dakka is always the answer, except when utility means more dakka.
Indeed. You always need more dakka.

Edit: Wait, wait, I was playing the game on my own, and just noticed one thing... Kira is 14... And Yuri 16... Not only there's some brother/sister action happening, they're both minors on top. She's barely a teen and already had to blow a bastard head off...  :o
Technically, there's no "action", it's just implied that they care about each other...a lot :P
Okay, it's mostly Kira's feelings towards Yuri, and I'm pretty sure nothing is going on. Shippers would disagree, but then again shippers can make any pairing work if they try enough :P

Discovering the joys of savestate abuse and arena farming while playing Fire Emblem: Sacred Stones. Everyone gets stronger, and the prize money is more than enough to replace damaged weapons.

I actually played through FE8 twice on my GBA SP with no cheating whatsoever. What that means is that basically, instead of arena abuse, it's Monster Tower Abuse. It's arguably unnecessary though as the game is very easy, probably the easiest of all the installments, and you're just embarrassing it with a powerleveled party.
This is my first FE game. I'm not very good at it, and I want to avoid casualties :P
Thus, exp and money at the arena.

I see I see. It's a touch easy, but I still think it's one of the better games in the series. Good luck to your FE endeavors!
Sadly, it looks like the AI is catching on. My Level 3 Archer just got matched against a Level 7. Yeah, no.
ETA: On the other hand, huzzah for Level 4 Monk taking down a Level 7 Pirate without getting a single scratch.

Also, have you played Path of Radiance? How does it's difficulty stack up?
