Wait, std::cin isn't C? No wonder it didn't look right. But then...why am I not getting error markings? O_o

Thing is, the conversation isn't "which is better at catching and removing viruses", which is all I really care about right now. The topic has segued into "problems with uninstall, 'free' trials, pesterware, is AVG fake, etc", and it's threatening a derail.Alright, both of you knock it off. This isn't the "debate on the qualities of AVG" thread
Actually, yeah, as far as I can tell it is a thread about recommending free antivirus software. Actually talking about which ones are better/worse than others is pretty important!
So, with that in mind... what's everyones guilty pleasures? The foods you know are cheap, dirty and oh so bad for you, but you just don't care 'cause they taste so good?Easy: french fries. Particularly McDonald's and In-n-Out, but I'm not picky D:
I'm getting a 'Error: name followed by '::' must be a class or namespace name' for the std.So...what do you use instead of scanf? That's the only thing we've used in class so far.
I use std::cin>> more than anything else.
This is a bit late, but I got back from the "happiest place on Earth" yesterday. I went on a whole bunch of rides and stuff. It was super cool and all that.Did you have a favorite thing?
Has Notch said if the game universe is going to be separated into individual "sectors" that you instantaneously jump (read: load) in between? Or is he actually going to make is seamless so you can fly between the sectors (at high-speed, obviously. perhaps even with an optional gate system).Flying direct in SoH isn't actually flying there. Once you leave the system, you load into an "in between" state, where you stay until you load into another system, either your destination or one that was just in the way.
I'm really hoping for the second. I actually enjoy flying direct in Shores of Hazeron, and am always saddened I can't do so in the Elite series...
Endless slinky time?Unless slinkies can make 180-degree turns, no.
Holy shit, I was helpful! Here's an idea. If you're using Firefox, try right-clicking on one of the images and select Image Info. You'll see a list of all images, links, etc, on the current page in a pop-up window. Shift-click to select them all, and click the Save As... button. It might work, haven't tried it myself.I have a question for anyone that might have an answer: Is it possible to select a large number of images and save them all at once? I tried something to that effect but to no avail. I finally got some motivation to begin planning out a forum game, and I don't want what little motivation I have to get whittled away from monotonous image collecting.
What sort of context are we talking about? If it is something where you're taking screenshots, you'll need to paste them into an image editor and save them individually, of course, but...
I'm getting alot of old Fire Emblem character sprites, but the only sites that have them are old ones that have them listed individually, and there's like a hundred to a game. I intend on altering the faces and such to create unique characters since I have little artistic skill myself, but something that simple is within my ability.
This actually worked perfectly. It DL'd all the images from the page, and all the images from all the other pages on the website as well somehow. Thank you very much.
