In my LP, I'm currently flying a 200-meter-long death machine with twin missile launchers and a powerful laser. It's called the Pansy. Flowers are indeed awesome :P

It's been suggested many times. Unfortunately it seems that the majority of people here consider mods to be vanilla awesome, while playing actual vanilla is considered weird boring and pointless.

We've had this discussion before. If you're content with your simple lego blocks that's fine, but don't be mad because I prefer playing with the legos with fully functional magic, machines, robots and computers.

Yeah, I got it early in Part 8. Kinda got lost in all the grinding, plus it was the first update in months (I'm still kicking myself for dropping the ball for so long :P )

Anyway, I tend to agree about the cruiser. The only real benefit is that cruisers have tons of room for mods, plus all of it's weapons can be upgraded. It might be smart to wait for a better one later.

In other news, I've decided to start a new poll! We've been going with a flower theme for destroyer names, and that's perfectly fine. What I'm thinking is that each rank of ship (destroyer, cruiser, etc) should have a different theme. It'll be up pretty quick.

I just threw it's stats in there for comparison against the Rurik cruiser.

Anyway, like I said in the OP I was very near the end of the game (or at least I think I was) when I lost my hard copy.

Well, I think that's enough for now. Sorry about the lack of gameplay in this one, but I figure a nice amount of storytelling would do instead. Join me next time, as we wrap up a few loose ends and begin making our way to Central Elgava!
