Derp. I guess I'm just being a little off today. No, its that the article is being posted in light of the recent stuff about invisibile children and kony.Ah. That explains why I didn't see it, I never posted in the old thread >.<Surprised no-one's noticed this:Yeah, its been noted in this/the last thread, it just happened a really long time ago.
Rush Limbaugh blasted Barack Obama for sending troops to Uganda to help fight the Lord's Resistance Army, implying it to be an anti-Christian crusade. Furthermore, he parroted the LRA's supposed objectives and implied them to be factual.
The Huffington Post article is just from last week though. Did Limbaugh's comment go unnoticed for that long?

I know who I'm voting for this year!Error message? Alright, but I have to warn you that it's a hardcore supporter of war in the Middle East.
Not everyone has access to the proper machines. Or are you offering free internet service and computers for every American?Let me rephrase that: I don't know calculus. I've never taken a calculus class. I'm sure I could figure it out, I did ok in advanced algebra, but if you shoved some calculus formulas in front of me right now I'd never figure it out. Expecting some blue-collar worker who hasn't taken a math class since he got his G.E.D. to understand it well enough to do his taxes is a little much.
Again, you would no longer need to know calculus to do your taxes then you would need to know the advanced accounting and econometrics behind the COLA adjustments to pay your taxes under the current system. You'd just plug your taxable income into the approximation formula and then get your tax rebate for the difference a few weeks later. Or go online and type your number into the IRS website and get the result. The point here is that we have machines to do these things, so why not let the machines do them? Instead we insist on humans doing them and have to dumb them down.
You don't need a BA in math or an engineering calculator to do integral calculus. Highschoolers can do integral calculus.Got any statistics on that one? Just because math comes easily to you doesn't mean that most Americans can do it. Hell, I don't even know what integral calculus is, and I'm well on my way to an associate's degree (working on a bachelor after that).
