Some form of windshield wipers? Have a long motorized brush sweep across the panel's surface twice a day or something like that. A mechanic can come out every other week or so for a more thorough cleaning.

Hmm, can we research a way to boost communications between labs and colonies? That will probably come in handy before long.

And thus begins the corporations taking over all the space.
Y'know, this doesn't bother me so much. It gives common folk like you and I a better chance of going up, even if it's only a "day trip".
The thought of corporations owning stretches of space doesn't sit well with me. Reminds me of the 'Caldari State' from EVE-a corporate dictatorship ruling the stars.  :-\
There are other stories where corporations are vital to space travel and the government. Businesses aren't always evil, y'know.

Narp. It was the firefly field or the gater swamp, they made their choice.
NASA has really suffered from funding cuts.
Budget cuts...

Couldn't NASA have found a better spot to take time-lapse images of the stars? O_o

I am ashamed  :(
On the bright side, I have successfully powered a lightbulb using sheer mind power.

Oops, sorry that was me. My astral projection went a little off-course. My bad!

Isn't there supposed to be a training map? I'm pretty sure I saw one on Youtube; your character was invincible while fighting a couple of bunnies.

To be fair, turning on realistic dismemberment in Jedi Outcast and Academy made the combat a lot more like this. A single hit from the lightsaber could kill with that cheat on, so it was better to be a little slow and wait for your opponent to expose him/herself.

Granted! The rifle is broken (requiring very specific, extremely rare parts) and the ammunition is moldy, making it unsafe to fire.

I wish I could make toys come to life.

Limited color palettes are so last decade.

So? 2D platformers are so 1990s. ;)
Ah, but 2D platformers can add new technology such as physics to keep the genre fresh. There's nothing fresh about pre-set palettes :P

- Politely decline the Soviet offer. They are clearly trying to scout locations for their own offworld colonies. Space station technology is well-understood already; the ISS can easily hold 6 people, and our tech is much more advanced. If they want any chance for us to agree, they need to sweeten the pot.
- Have the colony dig out a storage depot for their products. If needed, we can bring over a storage dome to install. We should also take a little bit of the minerals back with us; not for industrial applications, but as shiny knick-knacks for rich types to buy and show off ("Check it out! Real Martian iron!" "Oh yeah? I have a genuine piece of Martian quartz!").
- Make sure our new Mars lab is set up to study the Relic more.
- What's the deal with portable railguns? Are they crossed out because they are next in line, or are they done?
- After they're done looking at the Relic, have the Mars lab work on improving communications capacity between here and Earth.

Granted! The night is now 4 hours shorter! Everyone blames you for the lack of beauty sleep.

I wish for ninja skills.
