I haven't had alcohol for over a year. The taste just doesn't agree with me  :)

I just wish I had $30 to throw at this game. It looks amazing and I've only known about it for five hours or so. Agreed, definitely one to keep an eye on.

Redwall meets Mortal Kombat with something I can't quite put my finger on.
Perhaps Mirror's Edge or Assassin's Creed? That would account for the (frankly amazing) platforming.

Here's a really good (and hilarious) LP of Overgrowth by a YouTuber named Nerd Cubed.

Stepfather apparently shelled out $200 for a logo to be created, something I am being trained to do and don't consider work, but wants me to make a website for him.
I don't even know where to begin when it comes to website creation. Maybe I should just set up a Weebly site and charge him $200 for it.

I could have used $200. >.>
Why not? Use some of the money to pay for bandwidth and an actual domain name and offer your services full-time. Regular income ftw!

The whole thing is just playing on the "ick" factor. But showing someones grandparents "doin' the do" is pretty "ick" too, yet nobody would take that to mean it should be illegal.
Ah, but grandparents have already bred, hopefully as many times as biologically possible! Thus they have fulfilled their duty to society, unlike those evil gays.

Please note the "Straight" part of the "Gay-Straight Alliance". Not everyone in those organizations is automatically gay, lesbian, transgendered, w/e. It does kind of mean that you support them however, which can be just as big a problem (again, depending on where you live).

Yeah, but my parents wouldn't buy that for half a second. They're all ready suspicious enough (talking to drunk parents for the win!) and I'm not really eager to bring it up. People at school I could care less about, though.
Hmmm  :-\
Dunno how to help in this situation, I'm afraid. I never had to deal with this sort of thing.

100 awful people that would murder their gay child, I know there's probably a good amount of people on there exaggerating but still...  :(

This makes me want to cry. It reminds me of a whole clique of people at my school that are super-christian and flaunt it, and then say horrible things. One friend of mine even said (while talking about these 'Gay =/= Stupid' posters), that it didn't matter what they thought because they were horrible abominations. (Or something very close to that.)

I wanted to cry right there. :/
School makes people asses. That's why I prefer homeschooling.
Tell that to the young-earth-creationists who homeschool. It depends on what school you go to more than anything else. In my high school, we had a very active Gay-Straight Alliance and only a few students were openly against them.

You visit Free Republic?

Good sir or madam, I both envy your courage and pity your brain. Both will be tested there.

Wonder how many of them consider themselves to be "pro-life"?  ::)

From the Overgrowth thread.
I knew reviving that thread was a good idea. :)

Well, yes. But what of the poor folks who are not aware of this yet? The world must know about knife-throwing sword-wielding snap-kicking wall-running bunnies!

Are we counting subpages, or just trope pages? Because I know the 40k page has several metric craptons of stuff.
ALL OF IT.

ETA: Especially the Real Life section. That shit can happen to YOU! Sweet dreams! :D

Well, typically attack ads in the States don't feature censored images of naked men, but yeah. Pretty common up here.

Necroing (again), but I'd like to let everyone know that this thing is still alive. The most recent alpha build was released just last week. Looks like they've been improving the animations and are adding a "duel" mode.

I just found this thing today, when I was linked to a video of Infinity (another awesome-looking indie game that might never be finished), started following random related vids, and ended up watching some bunnies kung-fu each other to death. Instant hook.
