SCP-914 can also be very useful.

I'm hoping for some of the funny SCPs to make it in as cameos/background events. Tomatoes that hurl themselves at people who make terrible jokes, anyone?

Know what would really throw the media for a loop? Build a "colony" in Siberia or something, simulating Martian life. Have a bunch of paid volunteers shuffle around in "space suits" living in "air-tight domes" and claim that we're using these guys as a test run. Simultaneously, execute Nirur's plan with as much secrecy as can be contrived.

Ok, that was a joke. Get the colony on Mars going once the proper domes are built and transferred aboard. Start work on Portable Railguns and laser techs after that.

Blame popular media/culture. Cats are ALWAYS portrayed drinking milk or cream. When I first got my cat (6 years old at the time), I tried to give her some milk and the results weren't pretty. Thankfully I wised up and Suzy went on for another 19 years.
