aahdghjfhd I was watching more trailers, and it looks like Wrex is on your team again (assuming, of course, that you didn't kill him in ME1). Garrus, Tali, and Wrex all on your team? It's like one big family reunion.

See, here's my problem: for the last page, people have been going on about how horrible the last parts of the game are, even worse without a fan patch. Then people start talking about how other parts aren't all that great either. Having memorable characters is nice, but I can get those in a similarly-priced novel and not worry about whether it will work on my laptop.

The official launch trailer!

Even if it's several days before launch, but what the hell it's good.
Oh fuck you Bioware.

That looks way too good. It's got Garrus. It's got Mordin. It's got Joker. It's got the Quarians (including Tali). It's got massive epic space battles. As much as I dislike being forced to use Origin, I'm really feeling tempted right now.

So we killed it. The elf failed his saves like eighty times so what should have been a little damage turned into a ton. And I got a new shield. And our total monies is now 1298gp 7sp. And some of you guys really need to find out how much money you have.

Yes, blame the elf.  The elf that was being rolled by the dm I'm sure.
You also missed just about every attack near the end. Even when you had combat advantage. We were half-worried that you'd die from ongoing acid damage.

Oh, Droogh was controlled by the DM as well, and he did pretty good. It just wasn't Mahtan's night :P

I'm on it.

Well, let's see. We started by getting ambushed by a bunch of ugly creepy-crawlies that went all xenomorph and burst out of dead animals. We killed them all and it took awhile, but the fight didn't go so bad. Not sure how much XP we got from that fight, but no loot at all.

We then reached the goblin camp, and after a night of eating roast meat we met with the chief/tribal shaman named Weird Moon V. He told us (through his interpreter, Talks like Human) that his ancestor, the original Weird Moon, used to be a chaotic murder-people goblin just like the rest of their race, when he discovered something called the Ivory Door. Stepping through that door, he saw visions of the ancient past when goblins were used as disposable cannon fodder for evil monsters. After that, Weird Moon founded his own clan over the site of the Ivory Door, and they became peaceful.

When we showed Weird Moon V the letter with his clan's symbol, he reluctantly told us about a group of outcasts. However, he refused to tell outsiders anything else, and so we promised to undertake his clan's membership ritual. Our first task was to slay the "god" of the creepy crawlies from before, the Beast with 1000 Maws.

It turns out the Beast was a large burrowing monster that constantly gave birth to tinier monsters. Droogh and Rider charged in For Massive Damage, while everyone else tried to catch up or kill the small beasts. The Beast itself could burrow out of harm's way and had a variety of painful attacks. It also had a pretty large health bar, as three daily attacks barely brought it down to bloodied. Once it was bloodied though, it burrowed again and recharged all of it's special attacks, leaving a bunch of the vermin to kill. Every single healing move, daily, and encounter powers were used, and the fight lasted 2 hours. Pretty much everyone in the battle ended up bloodied at least once, except for Aramil who managed to use a shield spell to block one last powerful attack (it was actually pretty badass). Finally, Anakha brought it down with his halberd.

Aramil (of course) began looking for ritual components, but there weren't any. We did find some decent loot though: 200sp, 150gp, and a heavy shield that can boost the power of healing effects (this went to Rider, as he's the only one in the group that uses shields). Now we're heading back to the goblin camp to recuperate, and we'll get there on Sunday. Next step in the membership ritual: vision quest through the Ivory Door! How exciting!

The UK has a population of 62 million. The US has a little over 5 times that amount. That's a lot of people to employ.

That doesn't account for all of it, of course, but it can't possibly help.
Too many people leads to the idiots that are the loudest drowning out rather nice things we don't have, usually because of socialism being combined with ye olde red paranoia again.
True. I guess 20 years still isn't long enough to quit being afraid of the commies.

Short and simple answer, WBC are attention whores and professional trolls with a supposedly excellent legal team.

Long answer in response to their "logic": Simply because we don't shoot or lynch gay people on sight, the Phelpses think that we are approving of gays and are thus being un-Christian. And because America is the most important country in the whole wide world and founded by Jesus, God is furious at us while ignoring the other places in the world where gay marriage is perfectly legal. Which means that every single tragedy in the country is God saying "See? Quit being nice to gays!", but only the True Believers (WBC) can understand it.

When you think about it, we've been genetically modifying our food since shortly after we first started growing things. It was accidental and at random, of course, but crop yields have steadily improved and we've introduced new foods to our diet. Did y'all know that the classic yellow banana (the one most people think of in cartoons and stuff) had to be bred that way? They used to be way too starchy to eat raw, sorta like a potato. I think it's a bit hypocritical of some people (I haven't seen anyone on this thread say this yet) to insist on absolutely no modifications to our food, considering how much of it has been modified over thousands of years.

That said, I fully see the need to keep it regulated.

Do it. You can get your beauty sleep later, if you want. Besides, you may be able to switch shifts later.

Depends on what you do for a living. Most restaurants are open on holidays, as are some grocery and bargain stores. If you work as an accountant or something, you usually get more days off.

My WTF for today: My browser's spell checker recognizes "edutainment" but not "dystopia".

I'm trying to make some boxart for mine. Currently working on Lost Laser Competition; something about a laser arena under a Mayan temple. It's all crappy MS Paint work, of course, but it's fun.

Fake Edit: Some new names:
Nasty Cybord Dystopia
Super STD Maxx
Dwarven Chess Riders
(yessssss)
Black Harvest Nation
Adventures of the Quiz Superstar
(sounds like an edutainment game)
Ultraviolent River on the Oregon Trail
Pagan Speed Boxing
Blazing Banjo Saloon
(new from Harmonix!)
