Chikara's palm met his face for a few seconds. Just how many naked people were in this bunch?

: "Look, just...tell me what she looks like so I can find her later." Or direct me to someone more willing to be helpful.

Chidori sheathed her sword with a flourish.

: "And that's the last of them. Victory is ours!"
: "Great. Except now we're wanted outlaws for fighting guards. Plus we can probably kiss the deposit on our room at the inn goodbye."
: "Bah, they were out of line. All we did was defend ourselves. As for the deposit, so what? Gold comes and goes." The woman scrunched her face up momentarily in thought, then spoke in an undertone:

"Weep not for money
For though gold may pass, there knocks
Opportunity"

Chikara looked confused for a moment, then he looked around at the other combatants...and started paying attention to the prospect of getting paid for all this trouble.

: "Hey, so who's responsible for all this? Whatever got the guards riled up, my sister and I have gotten tangled up in it. We need to have a little talk." The man raised his voice, speaking to the group in general. Somehow he didn't think the big guy with the eyepatch or his cloaked friend were to blame.

Chidori leaned down and scooped up the katana before it even came to a stop, hefting it in a two-handed grip.

: "Nice. Chikara?"
: "Right!"

The duo leapt towards one of the guard-mages, the sister leading slightly and coming in low at the mage's knees just before the brother fired off a bolt of stunning energy mere inches above his sibling's head. When performed correctly, the two attacks would impact in the same instant.

O-10, switch to Steel Katana, use Gnosis Art on Mage A. Perform Nullstar if the Mage goes down.

Chidori returned Haru's nod.

: "You're welcome. Keep up the good work with that bow of yours."

: "It's so weird being able to see all this information. Useful, but weird."

: "So anyway, what is your name, odd fella?"

Even if the twins hadn't been adherents of Freedom, they would have found such casual incarceration unacceptable.

: "Yeah, not happening." Chidori tried to step forward, cracking her knuckles, but Chikara blocked her with an outstretched arm.

: "I'll take the lead on this one, Dori. You back me up, and try to grab a blade off of one of these guys if you get the chance." The male sibling pulled a tome from his pack as his sister nodded in acceptance.

: "Oh, I see. Thank you, Miss Marta. Did it do much damage?" He dropped the blob onto the sidewalk.

: "rood" said the blob, before rolling away.
