The first time I heard that ME3 would have multiplayer, Quarians were not included in the list of races and that made me sad. And yeah, the method of unlocks doesn't sound so bad, as long as you earn points with every match and not just the ones you win.

Is any combination possible? Could I have, for example, a Krogan Infiltrator or a Salarian Vanguard?

I think the logic goes something along the lines of "If you're not straight, you're gay." Or at least in whatever sort of mental other category that sort put people with different sexual alignments.

But yeah, bi folks are treated about the same as homosexuals in the states, at least in cesspools like the ones I've been living in. Asexuals... that's just treated with incomprehension. The feel I've got from asexual folks talking about it is that most of the rest of the world's brains just kind of go TILT. Which isn't nearly as likely to get you shitkicked, but the ostracization still happens. I'm not quite sure what other major(ish) categories exist.
Of course, the same people believe that women should be asexual until marriage, while men can do whatever they want. I've long ago stopped expecting consistency from bigots :P

I think those are homophones. Homonyms are the ones where they have the same spelling but different meanings, like wind (turn) and wind (air).

No, FAFSA can qualify you for genuine scholarship money; the kind you don't have to pay back, direct from the government. Not everyone can qualify however. I'm apparently just middle-class enough to fall outside their guidelines, though my family could certainly use the extra help.

It's cause of San Francisco and the recent ruling re: Prop 8. I'm a little surprised that there isn't a real "God Hates California" campaign going yet. I've never been the target of one of those before  :D
