Never said I was. I don't have the facial hair for it, plus I'm a little too tall  :P

There seems to be much more rum in my solution, therefore it is suuuupeeeeeeeriooooorrrrr.
Ah, but mine is sweet and salty goodness. Therefore, it is superior for people who don't have/want alcohol.

No, chocolate-drizzled kettle corn solves all problems. At the very least, they're making me feel better, and now I might be able to get this C assignment done on time.

Total wipes and re-installs don't always work though. You may have intermittent hardware issues, like how the graphics card of my old laptop would randomly die, and the processor would occasionally freeze up completely even when nothing was running. These problems persisted after a total wipe, so I'm pretty sure it was a hardware problem.

You wouldn't go flying off into space unless you pushed yourself away, which a simple tether would prevent. Asteroids do not have anti-gravity.

DF Suggestions / Re: Nerf giant insects and undead

Giant insect swarms should be a siege/evil mist type of event. When they arrive, the game pauses with a warning, allowing players to get the dwarves underground, equip the military, prepare the magma traps, whatever.

So just opened an old copy of Rogue Trader and... wut. Dreadnoughts are literally described as mechas and mech-suits? Giant space lizards? Squats? What heresy is this? ~ :P
The Dark kind of Heresy, obviously.
*rimshot*

Yeah, older editions of RT were made before 40k canon was really established. If I remember correctly, Space Marines were not genetically altered super soldiers, but larger-than-normal men who were basically sociopathic. Squats were "space dwarves" that ended up getting eaten by tyranids because they didn't fit the universe and weren't unique enough. I believe it is actually against the rules of the official GW forums to mention Squats.

I am awful at Terraria.
With the silly stabby sword thing, or an actual swingy sword? (or just in general?)
Swingy sword, never even made a stabby sword, and of course, in general.
We have a Terraria thread. Be sure to ask for help there.

Also, this talk of cathedral and whatnot mechas got me thinking: would it be wrong to 'shop the Kaaba to make a Mecca Mecha?
... no. No, it would not be wrong at all. Doit.

E: Metal Meta Mecca Mecha Macka'. Muchuu~

Well, it was nice knowing you. Hope the crazy ultra-fundamentalists don't catch up to ya.

Random thought of the concept of Notre-Daum... or Dom, I guess.

Hunchback of Notre-Dame reimaged as a giant robot anime. I'd watch it.
My mind has already begun to envision it.  Quasimodo's would be rusted pile of scrap, but since they are powered by the soul it would be deceptively powerful.
The carnival would be a giant tournament...
Yeeeeeeees... I can see iiit.'
*Slinks off to pretend that he is working on it*
Frollo's mecha should use fire-based weapons and have a big cross on the front. It would be awesome.

I don't know what a 201 course is, but it's not quite an introductory course. The class has a pre-requisite called Computer Logic, which I assume would cover these things. Problem is, I took that class several years ago, and it was basically making endless flow charts and a little bit of pseudocode. No real code involved in any language. Talking to the other students, it seems like the curriculum changed a great deal while I was gone, and actually does some Assembly or UNIX or something now. It's still supposed to be a basics class, since we started with the classic Hello World and began working our way up.

DF Modding / Re: Food mods

I had a similar question. Is it possible to add multiple food types, rather than just changing the name of the default? Not just biscuits for simple meals, but also bread, stew, candy, etc?

Absolutely.  Just copy the existing food types and change the names.  Just don't change the food level because then you won't be able to make it (it may also cause other problems).
Awesome, thank you.

Perhaps you should [REDACT] number 26 as well, unless it's not as bad as it sounds.

Also, holy cow, I've been sig-quoted. I don't think that's ever happened before.
