I just discovered a weird game in which some dude is hit by a bike, and gets punched and combo'd through the air. Surprisingly addictive.

I do not assign voices. Since my opinion on people changes from day to day, it wouldn't make sense to give (just as an example) Max a deep, villainous voice only to discover that (again, random example) he read stories to blind orphans in between shifts at the local soup kitchen. Then I'd have to give him a more fitting voice, but then I would discover that he hates kittens, and he'd go back to being evil. And so on, and so forth.

Alright, cool. I'm leaning towards Rune of Protection for most of the time; one attack will weaken enemy defenses while strengthening allies, another will give temp hit points, the encounter power will push the target and daze it, and while this rune is active allies adjacent to me receive a minor amount of damage resistance. Should be helpful.

The first one isn't all that odd, but the second is.
Seeing the second one hurt. Especially when I saw the size.
That was nearly a foot long!! How?! WHY?!

I have a question about Rune Mastery I was hoping you could answer. I have a feat which allows me to choose between a Rune of Destruction or a Rune of Protection, each of which affects my powers differently. However, it doesn't say when I choose a Rune (before the character is finished? Before every attack? Once per day?), or if I can change it.

I heard that the Anti-Christ is supposed to bring peace to the Middle East, solve our economic problems, and bring about a world government that would treat everyone equally. Therefore, Gingrich cannot be the Anti-Christ :P

Turns out part 2 is available. Still doesn't appear to be any links to it on the part one page, which is a little odd. Then again it does say 'news by Ben Reeves on January 28, 2012 at 01:00 PM' so apparently XCOM have loaned them some time travel equipment.
Two things I like based on those screenshots:

1: The car's windows shattering, and the Sectoids apparently shooting through them. That's pretty slick.

2: Three words: "Alien Reaction Fire". Nice to see that Firaxis seems to be keeping that mechanic.

Granted. You are now lugging around a small computer on your back.

I wish that all of my VCR movies would turn into the appropriate DVDs.

Man, you weren't kidding. This guy's character generator is crazy inefficient :o

Cheers. I was just wondering, I don't mind starting with basic equipment  :)

Can someone link me to a character generator? I'm afraid that I don't actually have any of the books on hand to calculate attacks and stuff.

Ah yes, I forgot to ask about buying stuff. In my weekly group, when we made characters we were typically allowed to choose three magic items: one at current level, one at level+1, and one at level-1. Are we doing something similar, or are we limited to mundane equipment when starting?

And you know who's even more badass than Tesla (and also didn't make the list)?

Leonardo "I-designed-a-fucking-helicopter-in-the-15th-century" Da Vinci. Da Vinci was probably one of the smartest, most innovative mofo's to ever grace the human species.
Don't forget that he designed his own musket and sniped some enemy soldiers at Florence. Not only was he a genius, he was supremely badass.

I just dug out my sheet and realized that his abilities don't meet the standard array. I will remake it and submit it ASAP.

Should I use this myth-weavers site that people keep linking to?

Granted. Your neighbor dies in a fire in the middle of nowhere, which also immolates your true love and in such a way that you get the blame. Life sentence for arson and double-murder, yay!

I wish to be in a movie.

You get wool socks. An elephant stomps on you, and a random dwarf takes your socks.

I wish peaceful aliens would visit Earth and we got to explore the universe.
