I'd love to hear the reasoning behind that statement.

Yeah, let them use Brandon. Free upgrades sound good. Might as well get a loan, but for how much I don't know.

Tried to restore a save point, hoping to maybe succeed and move on. Nope. Accidentally deleted it. FFFFFUUU---

I'm so freaking depressed right now at how bad I apparently am with ladies. I failed to get a date IN A GODDAMN DATING SIM. The whole purpose of the game, and I end up drinking heavily and falling to my accidental doom. Goddamn it.

But...Eric does have a job. He's the janitor. Do you have any idea how many things need to be done on a space station? Air filters need scrubbing. Water purification needs cleaning. Food needs to be properly disposed of. Toilets need cleaning, dishes need washing, etc etc etc.

Name the shuttle Little Mule
Name the station Fist of Armok
Name the planet Aether.

I'm hoping theres monster forts that you have to siege, While stopping the monsters from overthrowing your fort, And I hope that monsters will be able to actually be able to build and repair structures. It'd be fun to go back into your main fortress making extra defences and pactching holes then going back and seeing they have a whole new fort.
Assuming they build on the RTS concept, I can easily see this happening.

All we need to see inside objects is the ability to make certain things invisible with a checkbox. Check the "View Underground" box to see your tunnels and mines. Check "Transparent Walls" to see inside castles and things. Stuff like that.

nenjin, I'm not sure how you can call it a "better-looking Minecraft", when aside from the idea of voxels and building the two are nothing alike for now. MC has one guy, CS has many. MC is a sandbox, CS is an RTS. MC has very little in the way of physics, CS looks to have quite a bit more.

You are killed by a train, and are then reincarnated into a train. You are terrified of yourself for the rest of your existence.

I wish certain people didn't constantly try to "beat" this game.

Granted. The two-inch tall plastic model barely bruises you.

I wish I had some Sharpies.

I could certainly sympathize with what Jake is saying, although perhaps not using space marines as comparison though. The armor the person is shown to be wearing in the first link is very generic. It's the standard football armor not so curiously lacking a helmet. There are better designs out there, but maybe the guys at Firaxis are simply using it as a blank substitute due to them not having decided what the art direction is supposed to be.

But I still think Jake's criticism is understandable. Even if the blandness was intentional, we could still critique it for that because there are better designs out there, and better designers too:

But mech suits would make it a non-X-COM game. A huge part of the original's charm is that it features normal people getting killed by the dozen. You don't start out with any real armor at all, and thus your redshirts had no defense against hot plasma death.

It's all about adapting to crazy shit and making crazy shit happen. And all you need really is some d6s. And some crazy friends.
Damn. I've only got one of those things :(

Hire both. Eric can be a hauler janitor until something comes up. Brandon will get to work on comms and see if he can find some work we can do.

I think I played this once, back when it was beta. I might get back into it again, now that my EVE trial is about to run out and I can't afford to continue.

Is there an age limit? As in, once you reach a certain age you stop growing or have to make a new character?

Spotted my first mushroom biome today, from a distance. Using the Biosphere (with bridges and domes edited out) and Airship mods, I can just barely see giant mushrooms from my starting island. As soon as I find some iron, that's gonna be my first destination.

Maid RPG. That is all.

I'm unsure how much detail I can get into here without causing problems so I think Ill try and remember things that are funny but not too bad.

Kobolds heads exploiding post cheerleader preformance.

Cheech Marin as a carpenter named Jesus, that one maid kept calling Jose.

A very grumpy tsundere 14 year old master with pink hair named after armor plating.

A maid I envisioned as looking like a elvish tanned Roberta from Black Lagoon.

My own maid which got described as an elvish pervert pinkie pie.

And the fridge exploded in wood and Jesus. Not to mention the flour bomb that tore a maids shirt off before playing a few mocking trombone notes.
That sounded so weird, I just had to look it up.
