Is it not defeated? Skewer it again, this time where the heart normally rests.

I got bored because I had the misfortune of starting in a dead-end system, with only a single wormhole path leading to powerful empires, and no access to high quality or advanced materials. Current plan is to build a massive colony ship and deadhead somewhere else.

I have nothing to say about the Witcher except I find it to be one of Yahtzee's more hilarious reviews.
Are... they normally anywhere near that good? I may have to play this game and start watching his reviews now.
Some of his reviews are better :D

Just be ready to have him hate a game that you love. It's almost as inevitable as the sunrise.
Like he's said before, people don't expect him to tell them about the good parts of a game, theres plenty of others who'll do that.
Which makes the (very) few times he has more positive things than negative things to say seem all the more awesome.

Yeah, I guess you guys are right. I blame KotOR for re-introducing swordfights to my sci-fi.

 ???

I've had it installed for 3 months now, and I can still close the pop-up. How strange.

You press the Close button, right?

Not in the corridors, no. I'm talking at the breach point, where the enemy drop-ship lets the marines out. It's a major chokepoint, and marines would probably be hesitant about cutting holes in their only method of escape.

Have you tried WinRAR? It handles zip files just fine, and if you can deal with a little pop-up asking you to please purchase the software it's totally free.

I can't help but feel that pikes (or a futuristic equivalent) would be a superior anti-boarding weapon. You have reach, and the enemy literally cannot go anywhere else but through your porcupine defense.

THEY CAN TAKE OUR LIVES BUT THEY CANNOT TAKE OUR SPACESHIPS!
Yeah, because the spaceships are normally in a billion pieces when they take our lives :P

You need better armor.
Or he needs to dodge better. I had full gold armor when I fought EoC, and I probably would have died if it wasn't for the ironskin potion.

Quote from: BBC News
Preliminary results from the Iowa caucuses show Rick Santorum and Mitt Romney locked in a tie, with Ron Paul finishing third.

With 98% of votes counted, they are separated by 41 votes.
Now where are all those people who said that they wouldn't vote because their votes wouldn't count? Part of me wants to wave this in their faces a little <_<

Ugh, saw a preview for a move about a kid who loses his dad during 9/11. I'm not sure if I'm sad because the plot sounds really damn depressing, or that someone is making a 9/11 movie already.
We've already had like, three 9/11 movies :|
I was unaware of this.
United 93
World Trade Center

I'm pretty sure there was at least one made-for-TV movie as well, but the name(s) escape me.

Fake edit: Mostly agreed, Salmon.

Also...Herman Cain has 26 votes (I guess there are some people in Iowa who really do live under rocks), and Buddy Roemer has 21. Who the hell is Buddy Roemer?

Per Google, he was Governor of Louisiana (and his campaign site still refers to him as Gov. Roemer) TWENTY years ago. At least his tweets are amusing:

Quote
BuddyRoemer: I almost have enough votes in Iowa to start a bowling league. #Roementum
Quote
BuddyRoemer: BREAKING: Somebody who died in 1987 is beating me in Iowa. #invisibleman #LetBuddyDebate
I gotta appreciate someone who can make fun of themselves like that :D
