I didn't get any socks D:

I did get a Book of Secrets, a shirt which proudly proclaims that I perform all of my own stunts, some chocolate, and a Best Buy giftcard. But no socks.

Interesting, but the link just leads back to the Orange Box page. A perfunctory look at the page's source code doesn't show any tidbits either.

Check the 3~~
...it's all one big link. It goes to www.half-life3.com., but that just redirects to the Orange Box.

One thing I just noticed though, is that you can barely see the Aperture logo inside the lambda logo.

Happy day, my family and I saw War Horse. Surprisingly good. Roast ham and potatoes for dinner. All in all a good Christmas.

Good to hear.

Well, I'm offline for the rest of the day. The relatives are arriving, with all the fun that implies.

Arghlebarghle you guys quit making me spend money on ridiculously cheap things. My brain has a glitch where it fails to perceive anything that costs less than $5 as having meaningful cost! So anyway now I'm downloading Chantelise. I have heard good things about it. From this thread.

I'll need something to do when I'm done with Portal 2, which I at least recognized as being an expense.

... curse you all
I prefer Recettear, from the same company. They're both good games, but Recettear came first is and is a more unique concept.

Really? I heard that Recettear is actually the sequel, but it was the first to be translated to English.
Hmm, maybe. I didn't know there was any connection between the two games besides sharing a developer and some art assets.

Add me to the list of people who frequently use dwarves in RPG settings. My current D&D character is a dwarf, though sadly his name isn't Urist.

Granted. You know what to wish for, but you lose your ability to make wishes.

I wish people would stop making "I wish I knew what to wish for/to think of a wish" wishes.

After you finish, try the commentary mode. They provide all sorts of insight into the development process of both single and multiplayer.

It is a fun game. I've beaten it a few good times, and it never gets old  :D

Where are you at in the game? Are you stuck on a particular puzzle?

...So you haven't finished Portal 2 yet? Have you been spoiled as to what the ending is?

You wish to be castrated. For once it isn't corrupted.

I wish I could cure cancer.

Just did a perfect, silent assassin run on Hitman  8)

And more good news, I can finally go to bed! Merry Christmas indeed!

AW man! Was it Blood Money!? That's one of my favorite games, and for good reason, every level is it's own layer of awesome. Getting Silent Assassin on the hardest difficulty is just icing on those layers.
Indeed it was. The assignment at the rehab clinic (method: a syringe-full of poison in the target's secret stash). There were also two, optional targets, both of whom were eliminated as well. Still got out with no witnesses, no innocent fatalities, and without firing a single bullet.

Depends on the store you go to.

The one in my town cooks the chicken to perfection each time, and is connected to an A&W for delicious root beer from the tap.

The one in the next town over is horrible and I never go there.
