Apparently Steam got me a free copy of Counterstrike: Source.

It's the holiday thing~
I got it even though I already have it, so I gave it to a friend who doesn't have a copy~
I got Day of Defeat: Source. Thanks Valve, but I don't play Counterstrike and I kinda doubt I'll play this :/

Hey, I'd have been happy never learning about it myself.

I'd be much more interested if the DLCs were actually offered on Steam. Better chance of being on sale and less chance of screwing up and losing your money that way.

But in any case, the DLC is just extra. You don't need any of it for the actual plotline, it's just more stuff to do.

Oh hey, Mass Effect 1 + 2 for $5 each. This whole sale has been like the "RedKing catches up on all the games everyone else played the last five years" sale.

Also bought LIMBO. Looks like a good cheap indie buy.
hold on for Mass effect 2, i don't see anyway to get dlc
You don't need DLC. Half of it is texture-swaps and over-powered weapons, while there are only a couple extra side missions that will probably not affect the plot too much.

Why exactly is the evidence inadmissible?
My guess is because it can prove the cop is lying or somesuch. Nobody would care otherwise.
But if it can prove that the cop is lying, why not submit it? It could be the key to the whole case.

Or am I misunderstanding things again? D:

Elimination of targets successful. The first was killed thanks to swapping a replica gun out for a real one, making the execution scene much more realistic. The second via falling chandelier. No other casualties, a perfect assassination, and with me hanging out in the scaffolding completely unnoticed.

So unnoticed, that the tension bar drops all the way to zero...until a random guard sees me on my way towards the bathroom where I left my suit and opens fire. Then more guards arrive. Then the Secret Service agents with assault rifles...

I went down fighting. But I still went down.

"Is Varayis a common human name? There's no way...but she looks and sounds just like Ms. Varayis back on the ship..."

Aloud, he said "You're not related to a certain Sara Varayis, are you?"

((I must be off to bed, will be back online in 9 hours or so. Please try not to get Wash killed :P ))

Wash rolled his eyes inside his helmet. He was a pilot, not a jarhead! Still, it seemed prudent to do whatever he could to help.

He was struggling with a socket wrench and a fusion cutter when a familiar voice nearly made him burn a hole in his suit.
What does Wash see?

35817
Not exactly my finest moment, thought Wash.

"In a minute, 52nd. I need to get this bosh'tet recalibrated before I get into another fight."

Land the Stingray, and then zero the machine guns and repair whatever damage can be fixed in the field.

35818
((I thought there was nothing on the platform?))

Throwing full power to the engines, Wash circled to the right and fired off two non-guided rockets, hoping that they'd hit or at least distract the gunship. He brought the machine guns online and fought to get them aimed properly.

"Command, a hostile gunship has emerged from the elevator! Engaging now! I need you to prepare a fighter squadron in case something else comes out!"

35819
Wash gets on the communicator.

"Stingray to Command, Stingray to Ground Team, I have discovered what appears to be a ship elevator, like something for underground hangers. It's huge, easily big enough for a whole frigate. Location: approximately 1.82 klicks south-west of Ground Team's position. Please advise."

Examine the elevator with passive sensors while waiting for a response.

Do a sweep of the surrounding area, just in case. About two kilometers in all directions.
