I *guess* that makes sense...

Out of curiosity, why does this whole thing make you happy?

More and more US fastfood chains are trying to establish a foothold in the EU.
This goes for the large hamburger chain 'Wendy's' as well.
However, for the past 20 years, Wendy's, which has 6500 restaurants in 30 countries, has failed to be allowed entrance to the EU.

In 2000, a judge ruled that the small town snackbar 'Wendy's' in the Netherlands has older rights to the name than US Wendy's.
The snackbar owner, Raymond Warrens, opened his business in Goes in 1988, and registered the name within the Benelux in 1995.

In 2013, Wendy's (US) tried again, and appealed with the EU court to cancel the brand name rights of Wendy's (the Dutch one).
They argued that it wasn't right that running one small snackbar could classify as 'normal use of brand name'.
Again, the judge ruled against Wendy's (US).

Now, Wendy's (US) has announced it will appeal the verdict.

Wendy's's (the Dutch one) lawyer, Thera Adam, says that Warrens is about to open a second snackbar in Zierikzee. With that, Wendy's (US) cannot use the argument anymore than Wendy's (the Dutch one) is not a chain.
I...don't think the judge researched that very well. American Wendy's was founded back in the 1960s, roughly 20 years before the snackbar opened and 30 before it registered the name.

I wish I could argue that, but...

Perhaps I missed it somewhere in the OP but...what system are you running here?

As far as times go, I'm in PDT (GMT-7), so two hours behind you. If you're starting at 17:30, I'd only be able to join in on Fridays or Saturdays.

3815
Well, RIP this I guess.

3816
J-11, use Concoction on Ketsuki!

3817
THEY HAVE BOWS AND SWORDS BUT HAVE USED NEITHER, I NEED TO KNOW

3818
What weapons are the Rangers equipped with right now?

3819
Dat's a decent level. I like that level.

They didn't do that for the entirety of Gen6, though. You had XY and ORAS, with no Z or Delta Emerald in sight.

If you wanted to get back into the series without a "good version but not really", that'd have been the time to do it.

Aw crap, I hope this doesn't break existing characters/games :(

I'll have to wait for FU to update to find out, I guess.

Aloisturm flexed its fingers, feeling somewhat bemused. Its capabilities had grown more in the past two days than in the near-week it had toiled under Master Meatbag's orders, and the construct could not pinpoint the exact reasoning behind that curious fact. Certainly it had been battling the Enemy, which undoubtedly explained a great deal, but at the same time the construct had also been...interacting.

Master Meatbag hadn't been particularly interested in that sort of thing, wanting a simple golem to do his bidding. Aloisturm was reasonably certain that it would never become much of a conversationalist, but the construct could not deny that it took an odd sense of satisfaction from having beings to talk with should the desire to do so strike. They were obviously not forgeborn, of course, but one had to take what one could get. At least they were fellow warriors, in their own odd ways.

Satisfied by its new and improved capabilities, the construct goes down to the tavern room and waits for the rest to show up.

It was raining here for a few hours. That's nice but not particularly worthy of a Happy Thread post.

I'm posting here because of the frogs. These adorable little brown froggies, maybe the size of a dime, hop/swimming across the concrete lot. Probably came from the little creek next to said lot, and almost certainly the cutest damn things I'll see all week.

Um, I don't really see the problem, here. MM3D allows you to immediately skip to the boss of any dungeon and re-trigger the area-wide fixin' that happens after you beat them the first time, which I assume is a big step from the original.
90% sure that was in the original.

Is it the presence of the DLC itself that's odd? Because I'm looking at the dates of installation and those are weird too.
