I'd probably say closer to 40+. 30-ish might be closer to middle age.

* Sirus does the flip-flop hand gesture

Like I said, they're basically a fanfic's fanfic. A lot of it isn't great, and even the better selections have lots of in-jokes and memes. 4chan being 4chan, there's also plenty of porn.
Probably about the best I can say about it all (from an "aww that's a happy ending" perspective, at least) is that they wind up having a kid together.

It always really sucks to find a forum game on Spacebattles or SV that has great writing, great characters, etc. and just dies inexplicably. Couple of years old, author disappeared without saying anything and never posted again, etc. I guess that's the risk with forum games; novels aren't usually published while being written, with the chance that the author stops writing them. As a literary person, it just really hurts to have half a story and never know how it turns out.

Indeed. I recently read that fanfic on an elf and imperial assassin getting together. The truncated ending was rather disappointing.
If you're talking about Love Can Bloom, I'm pretty sure there were some more stories written by fans. Fanfic for fanfic, as it were.

Well, sure. What better mount can there be during a nuclear apocalypse?

"Very well. I will speak to my companions in the morning and attempt to gain their support. Any that agree to assist will return with me tomorrow before noon to pick up the tools. Is this agreeable?" The construct had a sudden thought. "Do you know who has a boat we can use?"

16 is adult male age in Viking age, and I think 12 for women. I picked 18 because he spent two extra years training before he deemed himself ready to try and make a name for himself
Ew. Well I'm sure as hell not making a 12-year-old :P

I imagine that religious studies would take a good deal of time, especially if combat training is involved as well. Add in a period of time spent in service of a more senior priest perhaps and I think 20 is about the oldest Gunnvor can go and still feasibly be level 1.

Out of curiosity, what ages are others going for? I don't think I'll want to be way older or way younger than the party average and I'm also not entirely certain what the Vikings considered "adult age".

I've got 94gp to work with at the moment. The problem is that I've never run a divine caster and I'm not certain what they need to work with reasonable effectiveness. A component pouch, perhaps? I already took a Holy Symbol of Thor.

"I will need to borrow digging tools, in that case.

One other question: from your description this "Chopper" had many victims. Assuming we find these tunnels and there are bodies within, how will we recognize your offspring or his possessions?"

Can you think of anything I need to change/add to my sheet, Tawa? Bits of equipment that a divine spellcaster might find useful, perhaps?

He actually said no joke/purely smashy characters. Whether this bizarre hybrid of yours falls under that heading is up to him.

I wouldn't mind playing 3.5 again one day. Still haven't gotten around to playing 5E though.

So, monks weren't allowed to use oil lanterns then?

The construct didn't know how to respond to this awkward situation. It listened to the smith's tale impassively, trying to decide what to say. By the time the man finished his tale, Aloisturm had decided on a course of action.

"You said that the house and cellar were demolished. Are you certain that any tunnels remain to explore?"

3869
"We were delayed by undead and goblins. Cease complaining." The construct pauses, listening to the eerie noises. "Shouldn't your offspring be asleep by this time?"

Aloisturm knocks on the door.

"I have arrived as promised, smith. You will now explain this proposal of your's."
