It's usually quite reliable! Plus it has no upload limit and images don't get automatically deleted. That's better than imgur used to do and possibly still does.

A million apologies for the delay, I've been having some rough times with work.

The next map is just about ready, I'm hoping to have it up within an hour or so (unless, of course, my image host dies again).
Fucking jinxed it. Here's hoping it works tomorrow.

I was ambushed by four janitorial buckets that proceeded to become eldritch space horrors and strangle the life out of me.

PREY

Goddamn I love this game. It's like System Shock, Dishonored, and Bioshock had a baby.
Are you talking about that old FPS with magical Native Americans or the new game that came out?
Probs the new one, considering the use of "eldritch space horror"
I mean, the old PREY also took place in space with plenty of horrific baddies. A bit light on the eldritch front but it did do a pretty good job of mindfucking the player with portals and gravity changes.

I'm never going to manage this again, but in the midst of a military attack on my HQ I managed to shoot down 3 VTOLs with a single RPG.

Sam buried her face in her hands at the news and struggled to not weep in frustration.

"I'm sorry...I can't think of anyone I can get in touch with for help. Certainly not anyone with soldiers and money."

This past week was amazingly garbage. When I got home yesterday, I was in physical pain and felt about ready to die in order to not go to work next week.

I'm better today, but holy fuck that was a bad week with the mother of all bad Fridays to cap it off.

Hold it!

Sam is referring to the fact that she is from Millton (the nearby city) and is suggesting that she could find a place for you guys to hole up there, not in Balkore where Rina is based.
Yes, this.

Why don't we all go to the village but keep most of the party outside for stealth's sake? Then if a fight happens, the commotion will allow the other party members to rush in in, say, a turn or two.

Gilbert winced. He hadn't meant to imply that he didn't want gold. Damn this language!

As the man with the fat pegasus had already gone after Sybil, Gilbert would just have to explain himself later. For now, he'd focus on filling his belly and relaxing...and possibly chatting up some of his new companions.

By the gods! This "employer" of Sea's was even more striking than Gilbert had dared hope.

: Gilbert, you old so-and-so, I dare say that being arrested might have been the smartest thing you ever did! Now that Dale had introduced him, the vagabond stepped forward and bowed extravagantly, producing a rose as he did so.

: "It is a great pleasure to finally meet you, madame. I am Gilbert, a humble healer, and it would be the height of honor to serve your house in return for the aid your retainers rendered to me."

3989
: "I can't say I've ever met this cousin of yours. I never spent a lot of time in Sukiamer and the breeder of this lovely girl wasn't named Beaufort.

By 'the obvious', I assume you mean your affinity for dark magic? I understand the practice is rather popular there."

Yeah, we've basically got a conflict between what makes sense from our perspective and our characters' perspectives.
