: "I would have thought that you'd prefer dead weight. Easier to victimize."

4202
: "And if we do stop to fight them now we'll have fewer supplies if more trouble comes our way. Supplies that we may need. They'll go back to looting as soon as we leave and--"

: "Let it go, Captain. They're clearly committed."

: "As to your question, Mister Warwick, I suppose I could be persuaded to use some valuable medicine on this criminal. However, I must insist that the coast be clear first. I may be armed but I am not a fighter by nature."

4203
: "I don't even know where to begin questioning the logic that stopping for an hour or two to do battle is somehow faster than simply riding on."

4204
: "Look people, I know you want to save the village. Some of you do, anyway. Unfortunately, time is of the essence. General Eastland needs us back post-haste."

4205
: "The lady here is the only one who can open the vault in which our goal rests. Her safety is paramount. Besides, you haven't even been attacked yet."

The wastelander spits something in return. Adrien can't quite make it all out but it involves his mother and the strange, two-humped horses that the wastelanders used as pack animals.

The villagers make a tremendous account of themselves, actually dishing out more than they receive though two of them are wounded.

In the woods, a bandit creeps towards the house with a red roof, violence in his eyes.

Perhaps rendered overconfident by their good fortune up to this point, the milita begins to fall apart. They do not give up, however.

Speaking of Pathfinder releases, apparently PF Spelljammer came out a little while back.

If my ankle is still messed up tomorrow I'll go ahead and see a doc. I pay for the better health plan my company provides and I'll damn well make use of it when I need it.

I mean. It's my gas+brake ankle. I kinda need it working.

If we're worried about the weapon triangle getting in the way in the coming EP, Sam's drums can allow those performed to ignore penalties caused by being on the wrong end of the triangle. Any chance that could help?

Because we're out in the open and getting hit from all sides, as opposed to huddled inside a brick building tanking a single point of entry.

But, whatever.

Getting my hair blown all over the place today, including into my eyes, made me realize that it's time for a cut. Ugh.

I don't know how bad the damage is, but I managed to take a misstep going down some stairs this morning and practically landed on my foot sideways.

The pain comes and goes. Sometimes I can walk on it normally, other times I'm limping to one degree or another. I imagine that if something were broken I'd be on the ground or hopping on my uninjured foot, so here's hoping for a minor sprain.

My concern is that our predecessors tried the same thing and it didn't work out very well for them.
Yes, but they weren't PCs.

More seriously, if "two dozen fighters plus mages" couldn't deal with these guys than logically we should stand no chance at all, even if we do run right now.

I stand by my opinion, but I guess it looks like we're sticking to the other plan.
