If the PF and first PS are too much bookkeeping (rather like the Scavenger's class skill, which is probably a hassle), I'll just change them to within 3 tiles of 3 enemies, I guess. Or maybe just change the PF to within 3 tiles of 3 enemies and the first PS I'll try to keep track of myself?... I dunno. Just let me know. ^^;

Bio: Having been called by the nickname "Atlys" and a friend-name "Day", and even a monicker of "Aurora" during her time in the academy, the theme of mental or physical strength alongside an idea of warmth revolves around "Meri"'s personality. Born to farmers of the steppes and cliffs and fishermen of the expanse and sea, Meris was an adopted child with little to no knowledge of her parents other than how she had arrived at the coastal village--her upbringing was filled with the best education could offer, as per any books that the community could share on with their income, and her talents were noted as a "gifted" child what with the early age she engrossed herself in with maturity and the love of learning. She was called to be a scholar, which would've been her initial calling had it not been for her choice to spend a few years tending to her 'family', that being the community at large, and developing herself both physically, emotionally, and mentally first--even at the cost of a scholarship at the local academy. Her strength in the fields and in the open sea was a needed benefit, and being around people older than her gave her quite a mix of traditional, antiquated, and progressive thinking patterns. She admired the connections people made with each other, and her force of personality (alongside rigorous testing and hardworking potential by local standards) would've been the secondary admission to a full scholarship in the academy despite rigid rules on age, in comparison to the provincial laws on commerce and economic benefits.

This all changed, however, when the fire nation attacked when war struck the lands. While over time she had procured a legal teacher by trade, desperation had affected the economic bloodline of the village; first were the familiar merchants being exchanged with heavy-handed men, with rumors that they were tax collectors in disguise, followed by the removal of local guardsmen--even including the local militia and any ships (fishing or otherwise) capable of hauling men or material leaving the bare minimum for its export potential, if at all possible now with lacking laborers. Its replacement were a 'guard garrison' from the Empire--common amongst the villages suited for agricultural expanse or service.

Meris was amongst the few villages who had stayed behind, with the bare minimum of training in her studies, latently capable yet realistically and efficiently practiced, it was only a matter of time before the ravages of war took their toll.
