Today was just plain gorgeous. I don't use that word often, but damn.

Nothing like driving by a reservoir that you're used to seeing piddly and dry, and beholding it in full blue splendor instead. The water level was high, the surface reflected the clear skies, the hills surrounding the reservoir were covered in green...even saw a couple of fishing boats out there.

No argument about ME1 being weak. I'll give it a pass for introducing a nice setting and including lots of lore...but it's probably the least fun to play in the entire series.

If Violet even registered the phrase Lyra used, she didn't pay it any attention. She was somewhat pre-occupied with the not-too-distant sounds of fighting and the overwhelming smell of smoke.

Cautious hype here.

Apparently this Andromeda mission set out before ME2 (so presumably while Shepard was "dead")? Was this mentioned in the original trilogy...ever? I read just about every Codex entry I could find in all three games and I don't recall any mention of a multi-species trans-galactic exploration mission. You'd think that'd be pretty big news at some point.

I might be misremembering, but I don't think regular old imagespam threads are allowed on B12. Things like the art thread get a free pass, but a thread consisting entirely of random images that people find amusing? Probably not.
