So, this is extremely random, but does anyone here nickname their Pokemon with regular people names? Like... George? Richard? Fitzgerald?

Just wondering if I'm the only one.
Hmm, sometimes. I'm a little too fond of dumb puns though >_>

Anyone know what Isle Avue's function is? I put some pokemon in the hot spring but I can't tell what effects, if any, it's having.

It's not the spiders that concern me, it's the massive plot bear that follows them.
I think I know exactly which webcomic that is.
Hee, I can imagine.  Naturally, it's the one with Clifford the Big Red Dog, as made by the Princess King. :P
Yup, that be it :))

I would imagine that there are capacity limits to worry about as well.

You might have heard wrong. Vermintide is more like Left 4 Dead than XCOM :P

Found out today that one of my aunts has stage 4 terminal cancer, and that there's nothing anyone can do about it.

The super fucked-up part is that she just found out about it yesterday.

It's not filled in completely, and I can't find the text document that tells me what all the entries. It's from a prototype I was building when FEF was becoming popular and I looked at their rock-paper-scissors combat system and thought 'you know what would make this better? Seven elements instead of three!'. So the table has seven elements, each one of those elements has sections for perks, faults, and traits, and then there's a divider to separate major and minor from the above categories.

It had some fun characters, I actually remember Alice. She had a major Sin fault that caused her to get a Sin based minor debuff every time she took damage, a Major Chaos trait that made it so that the type of debuff was no longer correlated to the source, a Major Madness perk that made her get increased madness power and defense for each debuff she had, a minor Fire fault that made her take scratch damage even when she dodged or blocked, and a minor Madness perk that let her have a chance to copy one debuff at random from herself to an enemy when she hit.

It made for fun builds and interactions, but you kind of had to have an exhaustive knowledge of the perks/traits/faults to make it worthwhile, and I gave it up when I realized no one would ever play it, and no one could ever DM it.
That sounds pretty awesome, actually. Any chance you could one day complete it?

That jerk Hau ambushed me for a Pokemon battle, giving me no chance to decline, or switch my team, or anything. He healed my team at least.

Round 1: my Hariyama vs his Raichu. It was an Alolan variant but I didn't know anything about it. I opened with Fake Out, then tried to use Knock Off in case it was holding something nasty. Well, it turns out that Alolan Raichu are psychic, and it unleashed a powerful STAB supereffective attack...and Hariyama survived with just 1 HP! Knock Off connected, was also super effective, and Raichu went down.

Round 2 was where things got messy. Hau sent out his starter, Brionne, and I countered with Petilil. Brionne got off a Bubblebeam before falling asleep, after which Petilil restored almost all of her HP with Giga Drain. She was in the middle of throwing out a Leech Seed when Hau swapped Brionne out for a Flareon of all things. The fire fox got seeded instead, and I switched in Munchlax for her Thick Fat. Leech Seed remained active, letting Munchlax easily stay in the fight long enough to crush Flareon.

Round 3 was back to Petilil vs the still-sleeping Brionne. Another Leech Seed went out, but then Brionne woke up and unleashed a Z-move! It left Petilil with less than half her HP, which might have been worrisome had Petilil not connected with a second Giga Drain which easily scored the win.

Munchlax evolved immediately following the battle  :D
