Wikipedia sez: "immediately fatal in 70% of cases, with an additional 15% surviving to the emergency room, but perishing during their hospital stay."

So assuming the above figures are accurate...you've got maybe a 15% shot of surviving an interior decapitation, depending on the severity of the injury.

Greetings, accidental injury bro.

I managed to give myself a pretty good whack to the face today by not looking where I was walking. Bloodied my nose some but I think my pride took the most damage. Still feel a bit out of sorts.

I think it's the very simple reason that tap water in some areas isn't all that safe to drink.

Apparently, the wrecks of several WWII warships have simply vanished from the ocean floor. Salvaging them would have required a major operation due to the depth that they were sitting at, and it seems all but impossible to have such a thing happen without being noticed.
It's just Cthulhu tidying up his property, no biggie. Gotta do a bit of yard work in between dreaming and corrupting the souls of weak humans.

Interdiction and fleet support are the best uses I've found for them. Stack several different stations with different auras around a major space port and it will take a fairly overwhelming force to destroy them all, assuming they have half-decent technology available.

Sell ALL of the Asher stuff!

According to KnowYourMeme (for what that sort of citation is worth), you are correct. It was a schoolteacher in the Azumanga Daioh anime.

And killing people is not the way to bring decency back, assuming for just a single second that it's actually gone.

I didn't understand the "kill 'em all" mindset when Obama was in the Big Chair and I sure as hell don't understand it now. I can't fathom how killing one or two or even ten people is going to magically fix any of the underlying issues.

I can't tell if this guy is actually serious or if he's just shouting nonsense to make it on the news like his team leader did.
Oh god can we please just kill these people
I don't care if you're joking or just fed up. Murder is almost never to solution to anything, not even stupid people saying stupid things.
I'm moving this to Ameripol.
I don't post in the Ameripol thread. Any thread that produces so many bans and locks is a dangerous place to hang around.

It's not a politics issue anyway, it's one of simple decency.

That's fine, you can use your husbando's name instead if that's where your preferences lie.

5113
Object, then. Label. Whatever you wish to call it.

The question still stands.

5114

That sort of thing is exactly why I stopped doing long-distance driving, but for me it was illness rather than possibly being left without funds. Both are extremely scary in their own way :(

Glad that things are going to be okay, DwArfY1.
