Right, PC sprites are done, map is designed and filled, way to move forward is planned, now I just need to try and figure out what stats to give the enemies and actually write up the post itself...
It's likely you'll be making a short pit stop in the village though, sorry. =s

We're not talking about emergency FTL though. Used to be, hyperdrive could activate from anywhere inside a star system and following any of the available hyperlanes, as opposed to warp and wormhole which required ships to move to the edge of the system.

Am I crazy, or wasn't there a time when hyperdrives were able to jump out at any point in a system in order to offset their lack of strategic flexibility?

Now it seems that hyperdrives have to retreat all the way to the edge of a system in order to go FTL, just like warp drives but without the ability to go anywhere within range. That seems to be a fairly large nerf.

Almost wish I did. I'd try just about anything, including magic potions, to beat this cold as long as it didn't make me sleepy.

Fun fact: truck drivers cannot take any medication that can cause drowsiness if they plan on working. I can't remember if that's just company policy or the actual law, but it's true.

Hmm, nah. Just a general feeling of unwellness combined with constant sore throat, intermittent runny nose, and fatigue.

Though oddly enough, last night I did have a dream about being poisoned.

Aloisturm found itself feeling somewhat annoyed. It hadn't minded a little recognition of its fighting prowess from other warriors (well okay, the guards barely qualified as such), but the applause of so many meatbags grated on its auditory senses.

Luckily, the construct's metal faceplate was completely impassive and the irritation did not show.
