: "Can't speak for any other mages, but in my case? Ye gods, no. I like magic too much to give it up even for self-healing.
"Still, arcane tattoos...very interesting. Don't suppose you got this sorceress' name?"

The mage examined the rune carefully, turning Ash's hand about to catch all of the angles. Eventually she let go.

: "Well, I have no idea what this means or how it works. But it's interesting!"

Yeah, other than coming up with the lists in the first place, I imagine that namelist mods would be the easiest things to make.

Quite the contrary. Jasmine's eyes lit up at the sight.

: "Whoa! Let me see that." She made a grab for Ashlyssa's glowy hand.

I'm not a medical professional, but I don't think that's where erections of any kind should be.

Oh jeez, 74c was behind the Linux thread? I barely got past the OP for that one without my eyes rolling straight out of my head.

: "Guess that'll have to do, unless the tardy party can use healing magic. Or that butler fella."

5468
Sheesh, if any y'all were to run a PTA/PTU game I'd be all over it.

5469
You too? :V

Die Hard is totally a Christmas movie. A jolly man crawls through confined spaces delivering presents to good boys and girls, what more do you want?

Except he's kinda pissy.
And he moves through vents instead of chimneys.
And the presents are bullets.
And the boys and girls aren't good.

But other than that it's practically The Night Before Christmas.

Yeah, I always turn that off whenever possible.

: "I have to agree. The potential knowledge to be gained from these mechanical men is quite literally priceless; we can't just pawn them off to nobles or merchants looking for something new to decorate their manors. Even selling them to other scholars might not be the most effective use of them, since they wouldn't know the things we know from experience."

The landlady should not own pets.

She has an elderly dog. It's in real bad shape. I know I'm an ass for saying this, but it should be put down.

It's deaf, and possibly going blind. It's practically skeletal, it's so thin. No idea why it's so thin. it has arthritis, according to the vet. It also can't walk very well anymore, just falling over after only a few steps, and is incontinent. Just pisses and shits wherever it happens to be. It's filthy from its own waste, and she won't clean it. She says she does, but I have doubts, since she rarely if ever even cleans the cat litter box. If an animal shits on the floor, she leaves it for hours, just opting to walk around instead.

She refuses to talk about the dog. Putting an animal to sleep is worse than murder. She says she'd rather just hope that she'll come home from work one day and find it dead.

A mix of sadness and rage.
Call the police. This is clear neglect and abuse of an animal.

: "Well, it'd take special buyers for these artifacts. I don't think farmers would care much about bits of metal unless they could be used to till or plow."
