The construct considered the response. It was logical enough.

"Very well."

5642
"Why do you call me 'Rusty'?" the construct asked, sounding curious.

5643
The construct would have rolled its eyes if it had any. Since it did not, it merely stared at the fleshy people.

"Helping everybody is statistically unlikely. However, stopping the Enemy from causing more damage than necessary is an acceptable goal." Aloisturm hefted its hammer and slung the weapon over its shoulder, carrying the weight with ease. "I am not currently optimized for battle, but there is no time for proper preparations. Let us quickly find the next group of Enemies and dispatch them."

I feel like I shouldn't ask, but how exactly did the image of a frog used to symbolize bad feels become a racist/hate symbol? What, if anything, was the reason behind that?

The Pepe meme is officially declared a hate symbol.

wake me up inside
Not to deny you your WTF, but I think that's come up in this thread a few times already :P

Aloisturm examined the weapon the human pointed at it, unmoved. It had never seen a weapon quite like that, but it was not concerned despite the smoke and noise it produced. The sight of the other man vomiting was even less impressive.

"Cease your bluster, meatbag. The Enemy is about and your weapons will be better used to destroy them."

I was specifically responding to:
Quote
And before someone goes, "nur nur nur but if da animals wasn't in da zoo dey would be dead," no, that's what nature reserves and the like are for.
Some animals would indeed be dead if they were not in monitored captivity, whether from injury, disease, or (in the cases of animals raised entirely in captivity and not specially raised for eventual release) their own simple ignorance of the natural world. So in other words, it's not a simple issue and giving your opposition a dumb accent doesn't change that.

How exactly would an animal that spent literally its entire life in captivity survive in a nature reserve? It wouldn't know what to do, how to survive. It'd probably eat a poisonous plant and die because it doesn't know any better.

As long as you don't say that around Chris Hansen you're probably okay.

I would imagine that there isn't a large Japanese community where you live.

I've been to a Japanese restaurant once, though I had to go to San Francisco for it.

Well, it probably wouldn't be the most painful way to die...

I swear it was brought up at some point, but I can't be bothered to go hunting through support dialogue for it.

Maybe Tiki says something about it.

Maybe it was just me, but Nowi's childish ways seemed to be at least partially an act to get people to let down their guard. If you bother to S-rank her with anyone, she makes it clear that she's perfectly aware of what marriage is and what it means, whereas someone with a child's mind simply wouldn't get it.

Or maybe not. Maybe that's something the localization added so that you didn't have a bunch of grown men having children with someone who was, in every way except chronologically, a child herself (and all the squick that implies).

* Sirus shrugs

Her daughter didn't seem to be quite so childish, from what little I saw of her.

((What are the benefits to getting larger, anyway? Yes, you get a minor STR bonus, but you lose DEX, attack bonus, and AC. You're basically trading 2 AC for the ability to deal one extra point of damage with your melee attacks, and since your HP doesn't change (IIRC) you could wind up in this bizarre situation where the dragon-sized creature dies to a peasant stabbing it in the toe with a salad fork.))
