Right-click the game you want to not update -> Properties -> Updates -> under Automatic Updates, choose the option "Only update this game when I launch it".

I can't find a global setting for this sort of thing (which is admittedly odd), but that should help.

Dear Steam. You owe me 50$. I didn't WANT FUCKING EVERYTHING TO UPDATE! NOW I AM OVER MY ALLOWED INTERNET BY 5 GB!!!

Ugh, hate the fucking Autoupdate system. I have a very limited Internet Allowance atm, 25gb a month (UGH!!!) and its like 10$ for each extra GB that you use after that. During a late night gaming time on some offline games, I went to bed and then woke up to 5 emails in a row of, "Hey you used more net, chaching!"....

ARUGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sorry to say, that's not Steam's fault :/

Maybe they did. You still have the massive siege, but after that's done your party makes a final desperate run to the Canadian border through swarms that make the final siege look pitiful in comparison.

What is this, an adventure designed for a party made up entirely of bards?

 ???

Sounds boring as all hell. And why would you need Knowledge just to eat?

J-15 and knife Druid F

There are so many traits in Pathfinder, you can easily build characters with skills and abilities they might never possess otherwise, or buffed versions of their existing powers. It's actually really cool (unless you hate that sort of thing I guess).

General Discussion / Re: I like anime, do you like anime?

Speaking of voice actors I've been watching Hellsing Ultimate and I didn't realise it had Wakamoto and Jouji in leading roles. Every scene with them together is amazing.

I've also laughed out loud at the series more than I think anything else I've ever watched
It's so weirdly funny in a beautiful, metal way.
I honestly never thought that I'd hear "keep reading or I'll shoot the other testicle" in an anime.
That's from the Abridgement though.

If only my internet was faster.
Your image appears to be broken, somehow.

Funnily enough, a sprint from A to B with a shiteload of zombies is the grand finale.

Aloisturm paid no attention to the blustering smith. Its internal systems had been restored to functionality over the past few days serving under the tiny meatbag, and it knew that it possessed at least as good a chance in a contest of strength as most any meatbag (save for the really big ones...but that could change in the future).

Before stepping up to the platform, Aloisturm activates its Astral Armor, granting +2 STR and improved damage. It then hefts the Toycrene Hammer and sunders the platform! Destructive Blows trait applies!

I see this thread has been living up to its name.

Just won my first game! Apparently martial artists can't or won't use chainsaws, but we still got out okay.

Bill, the paranoid Vietnam veteran (who was mutated with fly DNA early on).
18, the martial artist with a fierce temper.
Virgil, the generic cool guy and jack-of-all-trades.
Gnomey, the gnome riding a giant rat and friend to all living things.

These four brave souls made it to Canada with nearly maxed morale, and didn't leave a single dead comrade behind them.

The team's journey to Canada, which HAD been going well, fell apart in a remarkably short time. No food was found for several days, cars ran out of gas far more quickly than should have been possible. Eventually, they had to make a mad dash through an abandoned factory.

Ursa, a berserker and the leader, bought it almost immediately. Surrounded by zombies the instant the group entered the factory and with no room to maneuver, he didn't last long.
Grifen, the team medic and second-in-command, stuck around long enough to grab Ursa's pistol. Good thing she did, as the factory was a pitch-black maze packed full of the undead. Even with the pistol and her two back-up team members, she was badly wounded in the escape.
After getting back on the road again, Lonk found the White Sword! Sweet!
Except that Grifen was killed on a golf course immediately afterwards.
Food was completely gone.
Just a short time later, Billy had an accident. Billy was an odd fisherman whose abnormally powerful firearms shook the earth. Well, he somehow managed to drop his shotgun, resulting in insta-death for both him and Lonk.

Darn it.
