Worth noting that there are several free companions to be found in various settlements. You don't have to pay out the nose for extra hands unless you really need the additional manpower, and unlike many games with pre-set companions (cough Mount and Blade) they work together and get along just fine.

Narnia was one of my favorite book series as a little kid. Even growing up in a Christian home I don't think I paid much attention to all the allegory until later in life. I was more interested in the fantasy tones. Jadis/The White Witch was quite the villainess.
