:c

The broadsword isn't so bad, but hopefully we find another Treasure Mark soon.

I wouldn't worry about that too much. This is the Internet; whoever you stole it from probably stole it from someone else, and so on.

Probably. K-cups are dumb enough, I wouldn't put it past them to do something even dumber.

A reasonably good level? Not getting downed? Actually dealing a decent amount of damage?

Okay, who is this character and what happened to the original Amberly?

6365
Crap, I missed a turn. Gonna be the new Powder Miner at this rate :x

Good first level though.

Fer approached the nun.
:"Hey, uh, Amberly, I saw those attacks, are you okay...?""
The nun in question was breathing heavily, small crackles of electricity still arcing between her gloved fingers.

: "Thank you for your concern, but I am fine. Most of them missed me anyway. I see that you appear to be fully recovered from earlier."

I was hugged to death by flaming lunatics. Tremeres really shouldn't be getting into stand-up fights like this. Especially when fire is involved.

This is the first time I've seen something I wanted to unsupport. Like, you bid a number and, if they still reach their goal, they have to pay you that amount.

God damn people, squeeze a lump of dough and fry it for a second. You don't need a robot for this, especially not a robot that only makes coasters.
Or, y'know, go buy them at a store.

Started a new job today as a meat packer for a supermarket. It went well, despite a pre Memorial Day rush. The highlight of the night however was getting to purchase a 6 Pack of British Bangers, sausages for a dollar. I plan on giving them as a thank you gift to my uncle for letting me stay for the summer till I can find and hold down a place of my own.
Huzzah for the new job!

Woot? I've found three anomalies in the same system.
Active, not discoverable. If you find one and click the "we'll deal with this later" button, you won't find any others when you survey the rest of the system.
That doesn't seem right. I know I've found multiple anomalies in systems before, even when leaving them alone for later.

And even if I'm somehow wrong and you're describing how the game is supposed to be, it's still stupid. Finding an anomaly with a high chance of failure early in a system survey means you're screwed out of surveying the rest of the system, unless you want anomalies and are willing to risk your valuable science ship and scientist. Valuable, of course, being a relative term depending on how far into the game you are.

I just glanced at the description for the link because "body horror" and "3:12 AM" do not mix well, but I remember a rule about questionable material being frowned upon, I'm worried that a derail related to the link would occur, and another reason that got lost in me forgetting something more important.
"Questionable material" is incredibly vague, but the thing DigitalDemon linked is no more questionable than any number of other things that have been linked here. Hell, there are images in this thread's OP that are more questionable and no one cares about those.

Gentlefish is right, this webcomic is actually rather mild by most standards.

I can produce three good reasons why the above poster might want to edit out a link related to off site media and their comments related to it out of their post. Time will tell if I can think of a fourth.
Looking at the previously-linked material, I'm seeing none so far. What exactly is concerning you?

Slllllliiight necro to say the DW is on sale for 60% off. http://store.steampowered.com/app/261470/  :)

I think this might be the steepest discount I've seen for the game so far, so if the $$ always put you off now is your chance!

I have been playing a successful run on Dungeons of Dredmor, and can almost cover my glasses in cheese. I already covered my chestplate in cogs. Things are going well.
Good to hear! What sort of build are you using?

6375
Actually I'm curious as to what "short-mile" means.  A bonus for a low-mile delivery, since otherwise it's a lot of overhead for a low pay?
Bingo. If the total distance is less than 75 miles or so, pay based purely on miles tends to make it not worth the driver's time. Thus, you get a fairly decent flat rate instead of or in addition to mileage pay.

I should have called it short-haul, but my neurons misfired.
