Well, if all you really have is a proof-of-concept demo then you could always put it on something like IndieDB.

On the other, hand, if this represents your final vision for the project? Publish it on Steam for maybe a dollar or two, give the full game for the price rather than use microtransactions. Or publish it for free and keep the microtransactions.

There are already idle games on Steam, so a minimalist simulator probably wouldn't raise too many eyebrows. Best be prepared to either sink or swim.

Kinda bleh on the new Pokemon. The starters look pretty uninspired. The Moon legendary looks kinda interesting, but the Sun legendary just looks like a mix of Entei and Raikou.

It's been a while since I posted legit happy things here, buuuuuut...

Today I got contacted about a job I applied for, they seem to want to hire me. Assuming everything works out the way I hope, things will get so much better. I'll be:
- Back in a truck again.
- Working regular, set hours.
- Earning far more money than the chauffeur job pays, and more consistently.
- Getting benefits.

The prospect of no longer hemorrhaging my savings is enough to make me at least cautiously optimistic.

HL2 certainly toned down on the platforming compared to HL1. Not like that's much of a bad thing, since I don't think HL1 was ever highly praised for its platforming segments :P
