Ravenholm isn't so bad except in one area near the end, where it's easy to get turned around and there are infinite zombie spawns to distract you.

3. Allow actions off turn. Typically I let my players shout advice as an immediate action during combat even if it's not their turn.Talking is already a free action though.
4 time zones, actually: Pacific, Mountain, Central, and Eastern. This is not including Alaska or Hawaii, which are in completely different time zones.US Time is typically one of 3 time zones. More commonly expressed in either PST or EST from my own limited experience. From my experience, when you just say a time on the internet (especially not military time) you can assume they mean UStime10 a.m., according to 10 seconds of googling.
You can't just say 10AM on the internet.
Though, I think Steam time is PST.

I disagree with the first part of your post. My first VNs had branching paths and multiple endings and I loved them to bits. Kinetic novels seem dull in comparison now (though maybe I just haven't had good luck with them, I dunno).I don't think I will ever buy a VN. There's something about them that repels me. I'm not anti-VN or anything, I just can never bring myself to try one.You could always start with a "kinetic novel" which is essentially just a book with pretty pictures; that's how I got interested in the media type. Steam has a few good ones, though as always you should be a little careful, just as books in stores range from awesomeness like the Mistborn series down to romance 50 Shades stuff, VN's can range all of the way from good stuff (the Fault series were pretty good kinetic novels so far) down to things like Nekopara that are the essential equivalent of porn novels.
