Might want to spoil that, just to be on the safe side.

I'm tempted to pick them both up. My local Gamestop has a thing going on where you can purchase a physical copy of one game, and a download code for the other one at half price...but only if you get them both at the same time. Still, that's $60 as opposed to $80.
Actually, I'm pretty sure that if you have a physical copy of one game, you can download the other one for $20 on the eShop at any point. At least, that's what I've heard.
Really? Hm.

If true, that would ease my financial worries. I got a Nintendo gift card over the holidays that I still need to use and that would cover the discounted one nicely.

He might mean that he can't make that time. That's the biggest problem with real-time gaming.

I would think that free shots of, say, acid ammo would be better, so you remove the enemy armor and allow the rest of the squad to easily mop them up.

Or hell, get a cheap Logitech. I've had one for at least three years now and it still works perfectly.

Not that hard to solve. Just find a good spot where your sharpshooter can see any possible future enemies for a few turns, and when the sniper is getting too far away, sprint them towards your squad and repeat.
Pretty much this. It's all about finding a good elevated spot for your sharpshooter(s) to position themself/selves, then letting them rain death from above. If they have Longwatch they become superbly good at popping pods that wander into your sight range, often before they activate and run for cover.

Sharpshooters...useless?

I must be playing the game wrong then. My sharpshooters do nothing but rack up kills.

This seems like a good time for folks to take their chill pills.
